Andrew & Anna were fantastic hosts & we were thoroughly looked after. La Grange is stunning & so much bigger & more beautiful than the pictures show, so light & spacious. We have never stayed anywhere with such attention to detail everything has been thought of. The terrace & garden, again much bigger than we expected, was wonderful & we enjoyed lots of meals outside & watching the sun set. Our boys (11 & 13) loved the space & freedom they especially enjoyed building dens in the wood. It's the perfect place for peace & quiet yet only a short drive on lovely quiet roads to the pretty town or supermarket & the surroundings are magical & beautifully French.
The cycling was fantastic the roads were quiet & safe and the scenery breath taking, I had been unsure about swimming in the lakes but loved it as did the rest of the family, the water was warm & clean, I will really miss that now. We did a number of days with Anna & Andrew on the bikes & at the lake. Andrew was a wonderful guide & thanks to their organisation we got to do & see so much more than if we'd done our own thing. You are spoilt for choice for where to swim & we spent a day at the lake beach which had loads of fun activities for our boys. Also should mention the added extras of the English TV channels and loads of DVD's which come in handy for the children. We would highly recommend La Grange & already planning our next visit.
