Les Gites du Marais Guyot in Villedoux near La Rochelle - Gite L'Ile

Les Gites du Marais Guyot are located in a former farm near the village of Villedoux, minutes from La Rochelle. There are four holiday rentals which can accommodate 4 to 25 people and are fully equipped.
On-site facilities include private parking, large garden games and a large heated pool and secure 6 meters by 10 meters with terrace and sunbathing.

Our furnished rentals, will bring you all the comfort, relaxation, recreation, calm, in the countryside while being just minutes from the sea, La Rochelle, the Ile de Ré, other islands of Charente Martime, South Vendée, the Green Venice and all the sights of this beautiful corner of Poitou Charente. Each accommodation is a truly independent holiday rental. Our cottages also allow you to get together in a group, with family and friends for your meetings privately holiday cottages.

The cottage "L'Ile" is a beautiful cottage of 70m2, for 4/5 people. The decoration is oriented towards white and blue tendencies, stonework, and the colors of the sea.

The lodging "L'Ile" is equipped on the floor of two rooms, a room of water and a toilet. This cottage offers a room with a double bed of 1m60 and a room with three single beds of 0m90 including a bunk bed. The first bathroom is equipped with a sink, towel radiator and Italian shower with thermostatic mixer. 

On the ground floor there is a second bathroom with washbasin and Italian shower, with thermostatic tap, a toilet and there is a laundry area, with washing machine and dryer.

There is also a fully equipped american kitchen withall the features including a dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, electric hob and extractor. The cottage is well equipped with internet, TV, wifi, and other electrical household appliances.  

The Charente-Maritime is where you will find it all, whether you are looking for a sporting holiday, a relaxing holiday with family or friends, or just a romantic weekend.

Whatever your location in the area, you will find that you are never far from the sea. Enjoy surfing, wind-surfing or even just sunbathing. A day at sea with an oyster farmer to work in the oyster beds off Marennes would be an unforgettable memory. Enjoy experiencing the charm of Ré and the diversity of Oléron which alternates between villages, superb beaches and forests.The region is rich in history, perfect for those who love delving into the past. For lovers of Romanesque art, there are many churches to discover, from Notre Dame de Surgères in the north to the church of Talmont in the south.
There are also castles dating back to the medieval period (Mirambeau, Jonzac, Douhet, Taillebourg, Roche Courbon) and Renaissance churches where you will discover the diversity of the architectural heritage of Charente-Maritime.

Visits to the aquarium of La Rochelle, the Ark of Noah on the island of Ré and Palmyre zoo make for wonderful (and popular) activities visiting this wonderful region.
