This two bedroom cottage has been renovated by award-winning architect Gérard d'André in preparation for the 2016 holiday season. The property lies within the grounds of a traditional Norman Manorhouse, just 800 m from beautiful sandy beaches which are uncrowded even in summer. The accommodation and access is all at ground level and is suitable for people with reduced mobility, although not fully wheelchair accessible.
Outside is parking and a terrace with garden furniture. There are two bedrooms, each with separate wardrobe/dressing areas, a Bathroom and separate Toilet. Both the double bedroom and the twin bedroom have roller shutter blinds for complete darkness. There is a living area with comfortable furniture, TV and wi-fi, a separate dining area and a well equipped kitchen.
The cottage has been entirely renovated to a high standard for the 2016 season.
Horse rides on the beach can be arranged in the nearby towns of barneville and Portbail. If you would like to try land yachting there is a school nearby Bretteville
The harbour of Surville is a designated natural Park, with unspoilt golden sandy beaches stretching for kilometres in either direction. The nearby market towns of Portbail, la Haye du Puits and Barneville Carteret have a good selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants as well as a weekly street market. Further afield, there is plenty to visit including cherbourg, Bayeux, Granville and the Mont st. Michel. There are day trips across to the Channel islands of Jersey and Guernsey.
