Wonderful
We have just returned from a 3 week stay at Beaux Reves villa and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The Villa is beautiful inside and out and the pool was a wonderful bonus, especially in the hot weather. Kerry and Tomas were so helpful with everything and full of useful local knowledge. They were on hand to answer any questions we had whilst simultaneously leaving us to enjoy the Villa at our leisure. The local area is an absolute joy to explore and there is so much to see and do. We definitely hope to return!

A most charming holiday location
The charms of Les Charmes de Carlucet are many and varied and all contribute to a most wonderful holiday. We rented both the Beau Reve villa and the Cottage for a family of 12 spanning three generations from 5 years to 85 years and everyone had a great time. The houses are very comfortable, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with a huge attention to detail that just makes life so easy. You can cook dinner for 12 or pack picnics (the level of thoughtfulness includes cool boxes), have delicious BBQs on a terrace overlooking a picture perfect hamlet , sip cool drinks (ice machine provided) while lounging around the pool, or play badminton or football in the large park areas to work up an appetite (or attempt to tire out children). While the location itself is a most tranquil spot, there is great Irish gastro pub – the Black Duck - a 5 minute walk away (we can testify that the Guinness is poured perfectly), the village of Salignac is a 5 minute drive and has a supermarket, bakery, butchers and a pizzeria and the beautiful town of Sarlat is 12 kms away. Excursion options include umpteen chateaux, picturesque towns, UNESCO pilgrimage sites, kayaking, cycling, adventure parks, gardens and woodland walks – i.e. something for everyone. Finally, the owners, Kerry and Thomas provide a considerable amount of the charm, very warm, welcoming and generous – always on hand for a chat, tailored advice and recommendations but never intrusive. They’ve created a beautiful place with a lovely ambiance and we certainly hope to be back.

Beautiful Place
Beautiful place - even nicer than the photos! The Cottage had everything you would need for a great holiday and was really comfortable as well as charming. Was hard to tear ourselves away from the terrace with its perfect pastoral view and great BBQ (& Hot Tub!) but lots to do around also, including market in Sarlat on Weds and the "Josephine Baker" Castle; lots of lovely walks in woodlands and conoeing nearby. We were with teenagers and they really enjoyed.

Absolutely wonderful accommodations in charming village of Carlucet
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Les Charmes de Carlucet. Perfect little village of Salignac nearby and super comfortable accommodations. Kerry and Tomas took such good care of us with five star service all the way, from a weekly cleaning to restaurant reservations, to day trip suggestions to kitchen needs, you name it!! Like the 'yes' hotel. We will definitely visit again. Five star service, five star accommodations! Gorgeous area of France!

Perfect in Every Way!
We stayed at Les Charmes du Carlucet for 10 weeks. It is the perfect location in the Dordogne region, about 20 minutes to Sarlat de Caneda and even closer to Lascaux Caves. More importantly, it is about a 30 minute drive to more small villages than you can imagine. In other words, if you want to visit multiple villages using one central location, Les Charmes is the place for you. The villa itself is clean, beautiful and has every amenity you can imagine - even down to a cooler for using while picnicking. The villa is comfortable and even has a big dining table for guests to sit around in the evening to share their day's adventures. Kerry and Tomas are the ultimate hosts. Always on the ready to help with travel plans, directions or dining suggestions, they never seemed to tire of any request we had be it small or large. We can't say enough about being in good hands with such lovely and genuine, friendly hosts. They live on-site which is so convenient when needing suggestions or directions somewhere. During our 10-week stay, Kerry and Tomas were always available to help in any way they could yet afforded us our privacy unless we requested their assistance. They are lovely people and the perfect hosts. Without any reservation, we would highly recommend Les Charmes for a relaxing, comfortable, perfect stay. It's the best in every way!
