This natural stone farmhouse, with an additional annexe available to make 4 bedrooms, is tucked away on a small hillside in the hamlet of La Colle in the heart of Provence. There are only three properties in La Colle so that guests can relax in a tranquil natural environment filled with birdsong and the buzz of bees. La Colle sits in its 30-hectare country estate and is surrounded in all directions by prairie, forest, lavender fields, olive plantations and scented shrubs. The 10x4.5 meter pool overlooks a panoramic mountain vista from its dominant vantage point. One of the bedrooms is two singles, one double bedroom, and another single with a six-bed is possible (which is charged additionally), plus the annexe can make a max of eight.

We continually maintain the property, including the daily pool maintenance and grounds. There is no work for you! We have a policy of do not disturb unless needed. You will hardly notice us, as we respect your privacy.

La Colle was built a few hundred years ago and is an excellent example of a traditional Provençal farmhouse. The owner stays in Galileo, where we maintain the property and pool, which is primarily for you as we have a do-not-disturb policy as if you had the place for yourselves.

The spacious accommodation is well equipped for a family holiday. The entrance leads into the fully fitted country kitchen with exposed oak beams. Opening off the kitchen is the main living and dining area, a large and comfortable room with a voute or vaulted ceiling. It was originally a stable at the turn of the century but has since been developed into a comfortable space for family activities and includes a flat-screen TV, and entertainment centre, with a library of movies. The property also has on-demand 4g wi-fi and fibre internet access. The large fireplace at the end of the archway, more often used in winter, is the focal point of the room, filled with different seating and relaxation areas. A large bathroom also lies on the ground floor.

Upstairs are the three large bedrooms. One has a spacious queen bed, another has a pair of single beds, and the third has a large single brass bed. A sixth guest is possible via an easy-to-use electrical blow-up top-of-the-line single bed (extra person charged). The annexe is 10 metres away from the entrance and has equal access to the pool. It has a double bed plus an en-suite bathroom, making a total of eight guests in the warm periods. (six max in winter)

La Colle also offers photographic safaris and 10-day inclusive retreats.io holidays, mainly off-high season. LONGTERM LETS We accept long-term lets up to just short of one year. During this upheaval period of restrictions and mandates, we have had professional family guests who work online and have happily stayed with us for 22 months. They loved the area so much that they bought a local property!

As the property is accessed by a narrow country lane, it is not recommended that guests bring sports cars or caravans. A facility of 4x4 is available for transit to the property for short term rentals. see the main European site for details
