La Vallee is a charming holiday cottage situated in a farming hamlet, La Mariniere, just 5km from the village of Le Poire sur Vie with a supermarket, basic shops, bar and restaurant, and 35km from the coastal resort of St Gilles Croix de Vie (home to an attractive fishing port and sandy beaches) also within easy reach of Les Sables d’Olonne. The property offers comfortable accommodation in an authentic rural setting.
Accommodation comprises:
Ground floor – Large kitchen with dining table, open-plan lounge with patio doors to garden, utility room, separate toilet with hand basin.
First floor – Double bedroom (wide double) with en-suite shower room/ toilet. Double bedroom (wide double). Twin bedroom. Bathroom with bath and shower. Separate toilet.
Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV (French channels), DVD, Wi-Fi internet. Private heated swimming pool*, (8m x 4m, depth 1.5m, reinforced pool safety cover), exterior shower, terrace with garden dining furniture, barbecue, enclosed garden area, parking.
The owner lives nearby in the hamlet.

Activities and Attractions:
The lake with beach and chateau to visit at Apremont (11 miles / 18km), the island of Noirmoutier (40 miles / 64km) accessed by the famous causeway at low tide and boat trips to the beautiful island of Yeu (1 hour by boat from St Gilles).
19km takes you to La Roche sur Yon, the ‘capital’ of the Vendee which offers a wide choice of shops, bars and restaurants, summer events and an indoor fun-pool.
There is also a superb forest adventure park at 28 miles/45km.
