A real guest house for a lovely break in Carcassonne
We stayed in August at La Rougeanne With our children we found the guest houses as we like them with owners who are happy to welcome, who know the good deals

From the reception we feel good in this very beautiful building very close to Carcassonne, a soothing melody of classical music in the common areas, a view of the Pyrenees from the rooms, a pretty infinity pool, a garden which allows you to relax after a day of sightseeing. An exceptional stay
We spent 3 nights at La Rougeanne. The building is superb with a magnificent view of the valley and the rooms are spacious and decorated with great taste.
We also appreciated the breakfasts which are plentiful and varied. Also note the valuable advice of our hosts who know the region perfectly.

The site is superb, the area offers the freedom to picnic which is very good, the downside is the mediocre lunch. No homemade products, no variety, we would be entitled to have a more varied lunch and at the price.
The welcome could be warmer.

Nice, beautiful place
A winegrower's house run by a woman who seems rather dry at first glance, but who ultimately turns out to be very welcoming, going out of her way to please us. Beautiful place, calm and very well maintained.

Very pleasant stay

Beautiful house located on the heights in a pretty garden with swimming pool; large rooms decorated with taste; very clean, very quiet; breakfast served in a charming orangery; pleasant and discreet welcome.
