La Plagne Ski Apartment Close to Three Valleys and Paradiski - Champagny-en-Vanoise, Savoie Reviews

Well Furnished Apartment in top location to explore both Paradiski & Three Valleys.
Just returned from a great week in Champagny staying at this apartment. Located just above the main lift up to La Plagne skiing area & only a 20min drive from Three Valleys gives great scope for a diverse weeks skiing/ snowboarding.
My 2 friends & I found the apartment catered ideally for our requirements & has been given a modern make over with the benefit/ comfort of under floor heating & an excellent shower.
Great mountain views from balcony.
Just a short walk to all amenities of the village including pub, restaurants, spar, ski hire etc.

Superb location, warm & comfortable apartment!
I discovered this gem via a friend, who put me contact with the owners. They were VERY helpful from the beginning, offering all sorts of useful information, directions and local tips before our first skiing visit to Champagny in 2013. The apartment has a great view and is superbly located, just a short walk from the all the important skiing places (ski shops, ticket office, gondola) as well as the bars and restaurants for the evening. It is warm, very clean, well & recently decorated, feels spacious enough and has everything that 3 mates on a long-weekend skiing trip need; a large sitting-room/kitchenette; comfortable beds (a settee that becomes a double bed and 2 full-width single bunks); a fantastic electric shower; small hob, fridge & microwave; no TV (a blessing) and a small music centre with a selection of CDs.

OK, it could do with a larger indoor table if evening meals were on the menu, but with such great places to eat in Champagny, this was not an issue to us. In summer, the balcony would be a lovely place to enjoy the evening, for sure. You can’t park a car very close, but you can get close enough to load/unload bags before leaving the car a short walk away. Again, this was not an issue for us as there was no need to use the car during our 5 day stay, such in the closeness of the apartment to the village itself.

Everything about our stay was relaxed and well organised. Communicating with the owners was easy and replies were prompt. We were made to feel very welcome and given all the help we needed to get there easily & quickly to make the most of precious skiing time.

We liked the apartment so much (indeed, we loved Champagny), we returned for our 2014 skiing trip.

Whole house that Chris. Enough for 7 people. Beautiful surroundings and snow on the slopes. And that in a farming village
