Great Vacation
My husband and I really enjoyed our two week vacation in your beautiful vacation home. It was very peaceful and in a beautiful location. We enjoyed all of the little details that were included in fixing up the house. From the painted flower window in the bedroom, to the beautiful lamp in the bedroom and so many other things that we found. We hope we will have an opportunity to come again. One of the best vacation homes we have stayed in. Daniel was a wonderful "host" and provided lots of great tips and recommendations. When we arrived he had provided us with Cider, Butter, Bread and Jam - not to forget the yellow rose in the little vase - a thoughtful touch. Thanks and all the best to you. Susan&Lothar

Wonderful cosy appartment
A very cosy and warm appartment, photos are 100% true. Very friendly contact and great housekeeping. Fully equipped inkl. washing machine not mentioned in the description. Impressive historical spots like Utah and Omaha beach nearby. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that perfect, so after several days of heavy rain we decided to leave earlier than planned.

Exquisite
Warm and welcoming place. Beautiful and comfortable cottage, in perfect harmony with the garden, and the tranquility of the place. All details have a special touch, an artistic touch, creating a pleasant athmosphere. The pond is beautiful, and feeding the fish is a special moment, as all have names and funny eating behaviour. Silver was the eating champion. I found there the peace and the tranquility I was looking for. Daniel is a great host, and he was always helpful with information about the places to visit and things to do while being there. It is a very warm and friendly place, and I believe my dog Bruno had a perfect time there too. We had beautiful walks, and every place we've seen had a beautiful story. I will come back, that's for sure. And thank you, Daniel!

A great cottage ideal for a quiet & relaxing vacation
We were able to spend two wonderful weeks in the FeWo La Gloire in August 2020. As soon as we arrived in the courtyard, we were in love with the property and the huge garden. A lovingly furnished apartment awaited us (living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower on the ground floor), a small welcome on the kitchen table and a huge bedroom with access to the terrace on the 1st floor. The location of the cottage is ideal for being able to reach almost all sights in a 20-30 minute drive. Whether the endless beaches in the west, Cherbourg with its maritime museum, the market of St. Vaast La Hougue, Utah Beach in the east or the beautiful city of Bayeux with its more than 1000 year old carpet (absolutely worth it!). A big thank you goes to Daniel! A great host.
