" Excellent extended family vacation "
We spent a very nice week with two families in the Swallows cottage in early August. The site as a whole is well organized and offers holidaymakers many activities: beautiful swimming pool, pétanque court, billiards (pool), ping pong table, arch, trampoline and bicycles... All around, there are small roads for jogging.
The reception was benevolent (we were allowed to arrive well before the scheduled time); the owners are on hand to overcome any problems and to give tips on restaurants in the area. Information for excursions is available at the reception and guides and maps also in the cottage. Pleasant south-west facing terrace for long evenings. Rest is guaranteed, because the site is really very quiet and the bedding is of good quality. Small detail: there are just bedside lamps in all the rooms.
Downside: The sound insulation inside the cottage should be improved, as well as the wifi. One last detail, important to us: the quality of the kitchen equipment (pots and pans) was not up to par in this beautiful gîte.

" Great family estate "
We went there at the beginning of July with our 3 children. Arrived on site we received all the necessary information.
Even afterwards, if there is something to ask, Nathalie and Gilles always helped very quickly.
The gîtes are very large, clean and each family has its own terrace. On the estate, there are plenty of facilities for adults and children (boules, snooker, bicycles, football pitch,... and above all a very large heated swimming pool!). The domain is located in the countryside but on 40min you can swim in the sea or visit La Rochelle for example. The Marais Poitevin are very close with 'la Venise verte'.
The owners have lots of info on the area. You just have to ask.
Wonderful vacation! THANKS!
