Lovely 1 bedroom Holiday Rental Cottage in Carhaix-Plouguer, Brittany, France ~ Sleeps 2 people
Newly renovated Brittany holiday rental cottage that dates from the mid 19th century. It was refurbished in 2011 and is set in a small hamlet of 5 other homes that are a mixture of French and English residents. The location is extremely peaceful and the road into the Hamlet is a Cul de Sac and there is no through traffic. The cottage is detached with ample parking, with views over well-kept gardens and a large field beyond. The patio is a suntrap, great for sunbathing and relaxing!
Carhaix Plouguer is only a 15 minute drive with all the necessary amenities including; supermarkets, Banks, Petrol, Doctors, Garages, a Saturday market, Golf course, butchers, Cinema, swimming pool. The surrounding area is wonderful for walks and cycling along the Nantes Brest canal nearby. The Parc Amorique, the National Park in the area with Huelgoat as its center is only a half hour away. The beach is 1.5 hours drive.

The Cottage has not been constructed or adapted for wheelchair users. The bedroom is up a flight of stairs which are not too steep or narrow. There is limited headroom at the sides of the bedroom and under the roof truss. The front access and to the Patio is level and there is a step to the bathroom / kitchen extension.

Special Rental Conditions
The changeover day is normally Saturday, however alternative arrival/departure dates may be negotiable. Keys will be available from 2.00pm and vacate time is 11.00 am.
We supply bedding and towels for 2 people. These are changed weekly. The property is cleaned weekly.
Deposit of £75 is required to secure a booking. Booking form available on owners website or please contact the owners directly. Full payment required at minimum of 4 weeks prior to arrival.
A deposit of £100 is required for breakages/extra cleaning. This will be returned within 2 weeks of the departure date. Payment in sterling by cheque/bank transfer.
