Situated in an old barn which has been fully renovated, Maison Passerose is set entirely on the ground floor and has just the 1 step into the master bedroom.

Inside the gite you will find a living /dining room with open plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom where you will find a large walk in shower, wash-basin and toilet. The master bedroom is beautifully furnished and has a kingsize bed (180 x 200). The second bedroom has a French double bed (140 x 190). All furniture is comfortable and sufficient for 3 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a complete inventory, a gas hob, coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave and a fridge with small freezer compartment, on request: a toaster. There is no washing machine in the house, but on the camping site. Please note 2 uses of the washer per week are included in the rental price.

The house  can be heated and keeps warm during the cooler months. Therefore it can be rented year round.

Free wifi in the gite.

You can enjoy the large garden at the front of the gite with a terrace and a through way to the camping so you can use the shared pool. Of course this through way is for your use only. Enjoy fantastic views over the small valley or over the hydrangeas, which are huge!
We have cats on site that live with us. We, the owners live on site and are always available if you need anything.

It is nice and quiet location, yet all facilities are close by. Behind our farm and campsite is the lake. Only 300 meters away is the ideal spot for fishing (please note a permit is required). You will also find several picnic tables.
Mareuil-sur-Lay is only 3 km away and has shops adn a supermarket. Other places of interest in the surrounding area include La Roche-sur-Yon, founded in 1804 by Napoleon. It is also the capital of the Vendée and has several (large) supermarkets, hospitals and of course other shops. 12km south will bring you to Luçon, with its nice centre and a beautiful cathedral that was built in the 12th - 14th century, attached to the Benedictine convent, that was built in the 7th century. Cardinal Richelieu (known from "The three Musketeers") was bishop here from 1606 to 1623. Le Jardin Dumaine is also definitely worth a visit during your stay.

The Vendée is perfect for making many diverse trips and for many activities. Although the Venise Vert is an area that consists of green polders with numerous canals, which you can enjoy boat trips along, it is also a lovely place for walking or cycling and the beaches are close by.
