“My husband and I stayed with our daughter and her young family last summer and we will certainly be returning to is beautiful house set in the most stunning location. We had total peace and quiet in a very secluded hilltop location away from any traffic or other people yet just a short drive down the hill to pick up our daily baguette and croissants from the pretty village. The house itself is a wonderful old farmhouse and converted barn with a spectacular living area. The grounds led onto fields and woods and were very safe for the children. The pool is delightful and dinner on the terrace with views for hundreds of miles including the Pyrenees! My husband and I enjoyed the local markets and castles and great restaurants. my daughter’s family were not so keen on the cultural side but there was plenty for them to do – kayaking on the Aveyron River, horse riding and swimming in the pool. This year we are taking our son and his family! Thoroughly recommended if you want a proper break!”

“Spent one week at Mille Founs. Very off the beaten track, high up with far reaching views. Pool is good, loads of DVD’s and games etc, very spacious for the four of us. Perfect for out-of-the-way France”.

“Our 6th stay at Mille Founs and possibly the best yet (all so good it’s hard to judge). Tranquillity epitomised!! Improvements to the house this year are excellent – WiFi so essential nowadays; new satellite TV with access to BBC/ITV and good stock of DVD’s – sad but comforting for cooler evenings. All pretty perfect for us … so here’s to the next time!”
