This is the second time we have stayed at the property and we hope to go back again soon. Le Pigeonnier is very well-equipped, a real home from home. If you like a property in a quiet rural location, this is the place for you! The owners are lovely and helpful. There is lots to do in the area from walking, cycling and sightseeing. I would recommend this property for couples or families alike. We have two boys – a 10 year old and 15 year old, and they both loved it!

Rural location, fantastic views, very comfortable and well-equipped and maintained to a high standard. Spacious. Local information provided on visits, restaurants, etc. Owners welcoming and helpful. Small markets nearby and a lake for swimming. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

We spent three weeks at this beautiful house. It is situated in a tranquil hamlet enjoying stunning views over the adjacent valley. Le Pigeonnier was sympathetically renovated in the late 90s, retaining its original character. It is kept in immaculate condition and has been meticulously enhanced over the years. A short drive away are markets, an excellent boulangerie and a swimming lake. The cottage is surrounded by gardens, meadows, woodland and birdsong. Highly, highly recommended.

OK it’s a long way, but boy is it worth it. First morning spotted a wild deer at the edge of the wood. I was hooked. Lovely character, well equipped property. Made me want to stay put but then I would have missed the medieval villages, the markets, shopping, wines and delicious food. Be sure to find out if one of the hilltop villages is having a festival. What a hoot and you are made to feel welcome. Loved every minute at Le Pigeonnier.

Had a fantastic family holiday – (two adults, three children (aged 15, 13, 11). Le Pigeonnier was like home-from-home with everything catered for. From the welcome bottle of wine to the table-tennis and electronic darts (!) everything was provided. Hosts Roger and Jackie were on hand next door and the garden offered privacy to relax, read and enjoy the views across the valley. Only holiday that our daughters have left a thank-you note, with a couple of sweets, saying they hope to be back …
