Each property is fully equipped with all modern comforts including UK and French TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker. They also have their own terrace, outside furniture, and BBQ.

Chez Vezere is located over two floors and sleeping up to 5 people.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining area that leads directly onto the terrace. Complete with cooker, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker, microwave and washing machine, all you need for a comfortable stay.
The walnut staircase leads from the kitchen to the spacious living area, which is tastefully furnished and has UK satellite and French TV.
The hallway takes you to the two pretty bedrooms, one double and one twin (which can be converted to a triple) both of which have wooden floors and charming decor.
There is a large modern bathroom with a double sink and a separate toilet.
Once again this property has all creature comforts including French and UK Satellite TV, DVD player with selection of DVDs, Free WiFi.

The sparking blue swimming pool (6 x 13 metres) is positioned to gain maximum hours of sunshine, a wonderful place to relax and float away your worries. The pool area is enclosed with pool alarm.
There are plenty of comfortable fully reclinable sunbeds and umbrellas for shade.
Beside the pool are the boules (petanque) court and the table tennis table – both with ample equipment supplied.
Watch the children playing with their new friends or enjoy some quiet time and swim a few lengths in the early morning & evenings, relax and unwind, you are on holiday….

The village of Les Eyzies de Tayac is at the centre of the beautiful region of Dordogne with many of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, bastides (medieval towns), fabulous street markets, truffling (in season), and truly wonderful scenery. The famous towns of Sarlat, Beynac, Belves, Monpazier, La Roc G|ageac, Limeuil…..are all within a short drive (see www.guide-du-perigord.com/fr).
Several Marches Nocturne - free outdoor music and food events – are on offer every week nearby through summer. There also are entertainments and activities close by – golf, canoeing, tennis, horse-riding, hot air ballooning, go-karting, cycling, and a multitude of lovely hikes. The river Vezere runs through LesEyzies and onwards to Limeuil where it meets the Dordogne - canoeing on either river is a truly delightful experience.
Les Eyzies is world famous for the discovery, in 1868, of the skeletons which were named as Cro-Magnon prehistoric humans. It is at the centre of 135 UNESCO listed sites of prehistoric interest including the nests and scratch marks of cave bears, 20.000 year old sculpture, and many cave paintings. Abri Pataud and Font de Gaume are a few minutes walk from Les Relais des Roches, as is the Pole de Prehistoire museum.
Gite Alors is 700 metres from the centre of Les Eyzies, with its cafes, boulangerie, bank, LaPoste, shops, and with the nearest of its 12 restaurants and at just 150 metres.
The area of outstanding natural beauty around Les Eyzies de Tayac can be explored on foot, by bicycle, in a canoe, or even on horseback ! For golfers there are good courses in the area - the course at Le Bugue is 18 holes and just 15 kilometres from Gite Alors
Special Rental Conditions
Smoking is not allowed inside any part of the gites. Pets can be welcomed only by prior arrangement - please contact us to review your requirements - and extra charges may apply. Please do not arrive with an unannounced pet.
Confirmation – In response to your request, we send you a Booking Form. We ask 25% of the total cost of the let as deposit. On receipt of the Booking Form and deposit we will send you a confirmation invoice as our formal acceptance of the booking. It is understood that the person making the booking acts on behalf of all members of the party.
Final Payment – Details and date of the final payment is shown on our invoice. Final balance must be paid in full not later than 8 weeks before the first day of the booking. If we do not receive the balance by this time, we shall be entitled to cancel the booking without prejudice to our claim for cancellation charges and to retain the deposit.
Cancellation – If you wish to cancel your booking please telephone immediately and confirm this cancellation by email. We will then send you a cancellation invoice showing details of the accommodation cancelled. The following conditions apply:
Cancellation period before booked arrival date, and forfeit charges:
More than 56 days before arrival — Deposit
56-28 days before arrival — 50% of the total cost
0-28 days before arrival — 100% of the total cost
Client responsibility – As a client you agree to let only the people named on the Booking Form occupy the property. No camping is permitted or camper vans or caravans within the grounds. The property and all its furnishing and effects must be left clean and in good order, including removal of all garbage and recycling.
Vehicles – No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any vehicle or its contents.
Belongings – Personal baggage and belongings are at the renter's risk at all times.
Breakage deposit – We expect renters to respect our property like their own. However we do ask for 200 euro deposit - shown on the Booking Form - which will be returned within a week if all is well. We will visit the gites and, if there is any damage to the property or contents, we will require compensation.
Our responsibility – We accept responsibility for loss or damage sustained by you as a direct result of negligence of anyone employed by us. We don’t accept liability whatsoever for happenings or actions outside our reasonable control, temporary invasion of pests, acts of insurrection, industrial dispute, flood or other events amounting to “force majeure” We do undertake to give such help as we reasonably can in resolving disputes you may have with a third party. We have taken the greatest care in the preparation of the information presented to you, and every effort has been made to ensure accuracy. You may wish to consider insurance for travel or possessions.
