The perfect base for an adventure holiday!
A fantastic gite, spotlessly clean and renovated to a very high modern standard but retaining all its traditional charm. Excellent location close to Argeles-Gazost and all the activities on offer in this part of the Pyrenees. Tracey and Tim live next door and are the perfect hosts - thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Super holiday property!
We were 2 couples who spent a fabulous week in early September 2016 in this lovely holiday gîte at the foot of Hautacam, surrounded by amazing scenery.
The property has been renovated to a very high standard with all modern conveniences, including good internet connection, whilst maintaining the character of the building. It was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and very comfortable.
Superbly situated for cyclists and walkers with a useful garage attached for storage of bikes, etc. There is a large Carrefour supermarket about 5 mins drive and a great market in Argèles Gazost which is also well serviced with shops, bars and restaurants.
The hosts, Tim and Tracey, were very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions without intruding.
If we return to this area we would definitely stay at Les Volets Verts!

The cottage is rented by Tim and Tracey who are ADORABLE. Thanks again for their welcome. Very helpful and discreet, they put little attentions everywhere in the accommodation that make us feel welcome, and they do not play on the profit, but the satisfaction of the occupants. The cottage is new, extremely clean, and with functional and complete equipment and quality bedding (there is even a laundry!). Just bring your suitcases because all the small accessories needed for a house are there (sponges and household products, spices, vinegar oil, etc.). There is also a breakfast and a bottle of wine (thank you Tim and Tracey). We were delighted by our stay, as the cottage is perfect for skiing at several resorts within a reasonable distance. There is a carrefour market at 5 min, the village at 7 min, the first ski resort (Hautacam) at 15 min. However, we recommend going to Luz Ardiden. In short this cottage is perfect.
In english:
Just go for it, do not think twice, you will not be disappointed. Everything is so clean and perfect that I can not find any drawback to the place and the owners. Beds are comfortable and you feel like home right away. Thanks again Tim and Tracey, you've been wonderful hosts.

Great stay at the cottage green shutters! The owners are adorable and available, the cottage is very beautiful with a neat decoration. Located close to Argeles and near Hautacam, it was perfect!

Beautiful cottage to recommend
We had a small family stay at 4. Very welcome. Cottage very comfortable, clean, very well equipped, very good bedding. The supply of towels and bedding is a plus very appreciable. Well located to enjoy Lourdes and the mountains.

Very nice holiday home at the foot of the Pyrenees
We spent as a family with two teenage children a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The English landlord and her dear dog Eddy (very well educated, does not come into the house) have received us very friendly. The "welcome package" was so abundant that we could almost save the first purchase. The house is very clean and new, spacious with everything you need. For us it was the ideal starting point for great walks in the Pyrenees. We can only recommend it and wish Tracy and Tim many nice guests.
