Holiday Gite in Mezin, Lot et Garonne, Aquitaine, France - La maison du bouchonnier Reviews

We went with our grown daughter. House easily sleeps five and extra mattresses are available. It is a beautiful house in the centre of Mezin with a private garden at the back. There is everything you need in the house by way of washing and drying clothes, dishwasher, kitchen gadgets and crockery. The owner, Maria, is lovely Dutch lady, she lives next door. This is the first Gite that we have stayed in that i didn't feel needed cleaning on arrival it was spotless. Bathroom (which could use updating but is fully functional) is on the ground floor and bedrooms are upstairs on the first floor. This house is in the centre of the village, lots of great restaurants and really good markets. Two bread shops within walking distance. Parking also available. On the last night the owner drove us to the next village to a producer's dinner. This was an amazing experience and she is so lovely. If you need to relax, this is the place.
