Very pleasant cottage

It was the first lodge we have booked and a very good first experience Sue and Stephen are very pleasant hosts of rare kindness. Our son was able to bottle-feed the sheep as well as all the other animals which were lovely experiences for the 3 of us.

The cottage is very beautiful and very comfortable, nothing is missing and the region was very beautiful.

You can book it without fear. We are going back.

A fabulous place to stay.
When it says Family Friendly farm cottage on the title of the property, it means just that! My children had a superb time feeding all the sheep, goats and chickens on the farm and it was the highlight of their day. Steve and Sue are wonderful hosts and so friendly. Our children loved spending time with them and were encouraged to help out. They loved hunting down the eggs. Even my little 3 year old got stuck in. The cottage is beautiful, modern and very clean with very comfortable beds. We all slept wonderfully. Two large bright rooms upstairs suited us all very comfortably and the downstairs is nice and open plan which is perfect. Freesat on the TV meant that we could enjoy our English programmes when we sat down after the kids were in bed. The supermarket is only a 15 min drive away in Callac and we were able to cook each evening although I am told there are some lovely restaurants nearby too. 5 mins away is the Valley of the Saints which is worth a visit and is free. We would also definitely suggest a visit to Huelgoat and a walk around the lake at Callac. If you are looking for a property which is peaceful and has lovely views then this is the gite for you! I wouldn't hesitate to return. It was one of our favourite holidays that we have ever been on. We have fallen in love with Brittany. Thank you.

Total relaxation in a French rural heaven
What a fantastic area to stay in and Steve and Sue were most helpful in their advice and warm in their welcome. The fresh eggs were delicious, diolch yn fawr !

We walked in the lanes and woods around the Gite and saw lots of wildlife and birds. The gite was very well equipped and the terrace was perfect to relax on.

Ideally situated to explore both the north and south coasts of Brittany .

My first choice to book when I return to Brittany
Lovely Gite in beautiful and quiet countryside. Clean, modern and well equiped with everything needed to make an enjoyable stay. The owners are very helpful and friendly (as are their animals) ha. Hope to return again next year.

Comfortable, modern, clean and fully furnished house. The nicest hosts.
Sue and Steve make the stay for families with children on their beautiful farm unforgettable. Never intrusive but always helpful. The children loved the stay in this pretty Hsus. So do we adults. Pure rest and relaxation. Activities, pretty towns and beautiful beaches are all within easy driving distance.

Super séjour au calme à la campagne
We had a very pleasant stay in this very well appointed and comfortable cottage. Very warm welcome from our hosts, beautiful environment of fields, rocked by the bleating of the sheep. Superb starry sky because we were lucky to have very good weather.

Great quiet stay in the countryside

We have traveled quite a bit but never before encountered such attentive and charming hosts while being so discreet.

Mr. and Mrs. Davis were so nice, introduced us to their animals, let us walk around the farm and feed their animals. They had just had several births of lambs. Our daughter would have loved to bring one home. Mr. and Mrs. Davis had even put us a nice basket of fruit, water and milk in the fridge.

They have sheep (several breeds: Ouessant, Breton, ...), a goat, chickens, two rabbits, a guinea pig, two cats, five dogs.

The lodge is spacious, clean, well equipped, the environment very quiet, the night sky magnificent. The only downside is the non-blackout curtains which slowed down falling asleep during the nap.

Visiting side: Vallée des Saints 5mn, Huelgoat 20mn, Guerlesquin 20mn, the Monts d'Arree with Mont Saint Michel (walk between Landes and Peat bogs magnificent !!!), Brennilis power station (if you like industrial tours), ...

and otherwise quite central position which allows a lot of walks (Concarneau, Quimper, Crozon, Brest, Oceanopolis, Île de Batz, Roscoff ...).

We had never left a lodge with a heavy heart before.
