This Little cottage in dinault has everthing you need and in an excelent location for visiting Brittany, We were an adult group of 4 and there was everything in the cottage we needed for our weeks stay, we were there in December and found the cottage very warm and cosy, log fire is a real focal point, We found the place very comfortable and extremly well equiped for our stay, there is also everything for the family with children too. Lovely little village with a few shops and a great bar, very close to a town with a large supermarket and within easy reach of some fantastic beaches and villages.
After a busy year my fiance and I were looking for a place to relax for a week and recharge our batteries and fortunately we stumbled across this lovely cottage. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the property is just what we'd hoped for and more. The cottage was very clean and suprisingly spacious and you could tell it was taken care of like somebody's home rather than the rented holiday properties we've had in the past. It will definitely accommodate a family of 6 people with ease. About 2 or 3 miles away from Dineault is a lovely town called Chateaulin which has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to visit for the more adventurous and along the way the scenery was magnificent. We ate out in the evening about 3 or 4 times and I can honestly say I never had a bad meal. There is also a large supermarket called L'Eclerc? in Chateaulin were we found food and drink at more reasonable prices than the local village shops. The night times in the cottage were very cosy and the log fire in the living area was a lovely touch!! In conclusion I would like to thank Stephen and Melanie for there hospitality and I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone. We will definitely visit again in 2009!!!
I stayed here with my new wife at the beginning of our honeymoon! Exactly what we were after! Nice quiet place to spend a bit of quality time together after the hectic run-up to the wedding. Set in an extremely quaint french village with everything you require for your stay. The wine bar was nice and there was a lovely little bakers for fresh bread every morning! We'll never forget our stay here and would like to thank Stephen and Melanie for their hospitality and great welcome pack!
The location was perfect and the house was quite charming and exactly what we needed for our family vacation. The caretakers were very nice and the neighbours extremely friendly. Stephen & Melanie were very helpful - setting everything up turned out to be easy, even from 4000 miles away!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dineault Cottage which was perfectly positioned in the delightful village of Dineault, close to some fabulous beaches and the charismatic town of Chateaulin. Dineault had a good bar/cafe, grocery shop and patisserie. The larger town with numerous restaurants and supermarkets of Chateaulin was within 5-10 minutes and the most fabulous hard sand, no stones extensive beach of Pentrez Plage was also within a 10 min. drive. Excellent spot for touring the wonderful countryside of Brittany - very central. Very good value. Thank you
2nd fantastic holiday had to let you all know.......having been before and since meeting the love of my life and deciding to propose i was thinking like any other hopless romantic of the ideal setting to get down on 1 knee........and remembered about my time spent at this perfectly sized and placed cottage in Dinault, Brittany.
mid-20's couples looking to spend some time alone just after a hectic Xmas and before the blues of going back to work. for some relaxation therapy.
The was once again spotless and as picturesque as i remembered.
4 nights just wasnt enough. The weather was better than at home, but ew didnt visit the beaches, instead got a little more adventureous and used the local train station to visit other nearby villages and small towns
That log fire became a distant memory but on arrival knew it was the perfect scene after a lovely home cooked meal to 'pop the question'.
Big thanks again to Stephen and Melanie you may just get an invite as SHE SAID YES!!!!!

A beautiful quiet and clean place. We enjoyed the place immensely. The kids enjoyed the stay. The did not want to leave. We read all the books thank you. The villagers are very good and helpful. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends. A nice retreat.
Good Value for money. Keep it up.
I've just returned from a week's holiday staying in this cottage with my husband and three children. We were very happy with our choice, certainly much better than the cramped caravan we stayed in last year in France. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and it was great to have the bakery and grocery so close by. The bar owner was very friendly too.
Dineault is an excellent base for exploring the area. It only takes 10 minutes to drive to Chateaulin, which has some nice restaurants. We recommend the Ty Glaz creperie, which is on the right side of the road just before you get to Chateaulin. The beaches are lovely - we were slightly put off at the sight of washed up jellyfish on some beaches, but we spent plenty of time swimming, snorkelling and body boarding in the sea and didn't encounter any live ones. Favourite beach - Pentrez, one of the Douarnenez beaches was good for snorkelling, and you can hire a kayak at Morgat beach and paddle around the bay.
My wife and myself greatly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. Dinault is a lovely village, with an excellent bakers around the corner and the village shop is well stocked. The location is brillient for exploring the Crozon peninsula as well as visiting the nearby towns.
