Peaceful, gorgeous holiday home with private pool and garden situated in the heart of the Luberon just next to the centre of Lourmarin, in very quiet & private surroundings.
The property boasts 5 very comfortable bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and has stylish and tasteful deco, high end furniture, A/C, a Nespresso coffee machine and a BBQ. There are bicycles for guests to use for exploring the area.
We underwent Major Renovation & Upgrades in October 2017 (exposed stone façade, new dishwasher, new outside patio furniture in high grade synthetic rattan, pool house).
We have provided everything you need for an unforgettable holiday in Provence!

Upon arrival, our trusted care taker, who leaves in the next village over, will meet you to show you around the house, give you recommendations and answer any queries you may have.
She will come back at the end of your stay for the inspection and return of the keys.


THE HOUSE:
With over 480m2, the house is beautifully and tastefully decorated with our guests comfort in mind. It comprises 5 large and bright bedrooms that enjoy high quality bedding and linen. The bathrooms and equipped with towels, hair dryers and other amenities. The quiet and efficient Air Conditioning units provide guests with comfort. 
Three bedrooms are located upstairs (with 2.5 Bathrooms), one bedroom (with bathroom) is located downstairs.
The fifth bedroom is an independent one bedroom apartment, with its own entrance, living room and bathroom. It is only available to groups over 10 people only; an additional fee will be added for over 10 people.

Our kitchen features a Nespresso machine, dish washer, washing machine and dryer. We just spent extensive renovation in September 2017; we have re-done the entire face of the house with exposed stones, put in a brand new Miele dishwasher, new washing machine and new dryer.....

The large living room, with its vaulted ceilings and large stone walls, open to the large terrace overlooking the yard and pool. The pool (about 14 metres long by 6 metres wide) is secured by an electric cover operated automatically by the turn of a key. The outdoor lounge opens directly to the pool and yard and it is perfectly shaded all day.
The formal dining room can accommodate a large group, but the outside dining area with its long tables and the wood burning (or charcoal) BBQ, is our guests (and us) favorite place to enjoy meals and gather in the shades.
From there you will be able to admire the beautiful stone façade that was also restored in 2017, to its gorgeous original state.

THE AREA:
The local supermarket (Super U), has a web site that allows you to do your shopping online; they also deliver, making your vacation even more enjoyable. If you want to have the fridge full when you arrive, you can order ahead of time and ask for your order to be delivered at our house and we will put everything in the fridge for you. Just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
The house is very private and quiet; you can choose to ride your bike (we provide bikes for our guests) or take a short walk through the Olive trees and grapes field, to the center of Lourmarin for a coffee, a lunch, attend the local market, visit the castle or some of the galleries. Or, you may choose to ride your bike to Lauris and have lunch at the gorgeous Domaine de Fontenille  just a couple kilometers on the other side.

A cleaning fee of 190 Euros will be added to every stay; if your stay is longer than one week and you would like to have a cleaning during your stay, just let us know; we can arrange for an extra cleaning.

If you want to have the fridge full when you arrive, you can order ahead of time and ask for your order to be delivered at our house and we will put everything in the fridge for you. Just let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.

If something is damaged or missing you will be asked to replace or pay for it.
The main house sleeps 10 people. It has 4 Bedrooms (3 Bdr with Queen size beds and 1 Bdr with 4 bunk beds). If your party has more than 10 people, our extra apartment (complete with its own spacious, living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and terrace and located up the stairs from the rose garden), can be included with an extra rental fee, otherwise it will remain closed. For parties with 10 or less people, who would like to add the apartment for added space and comfort, we can certainly add it to your rental, but at an extra fee.

This wonderful house is our home and we love it; please respect it and please act in it as you would in your own home.
