The Treetop Apartment - Excellent Location on the Allées Paul Riquet of Béziers

The Allées Paul Riquet is the main square of Béziers.  It is the heart of the city, lined with the most impressive haussmannien buildings from the late 1800's as well as the ever present sycamore trees.  Because the apartment overlooks the trees in the park, it is a very quiet.  One can enjoy the bird song during the day while watching the world go by.  The bedroom is located in the back (a little known secret in France) so you sleep well with no interruption from the morning traffic.  There is a flea / antique market on the Allées every Tuesday and Saturday, a flower market on Fridays, and a vegetable market every day except Monday and Wednesday.  During the summer months there are regular wine tastings events in the evenings on the Allées Paul Riquet.  There is a large choice of restaurants just a hop - skip - jump away.  The park of poets is the largest park in Béziers, our own little "central park". There are many events (animations) located in the park for the evenings, like Jazz music and flamenco dancing, as well as along the Allées Paul Riquet.

From the living room and kitchen window, you can watch the world from your treetop nest.

From the rear window you can see the Pyrenees Mountains and the Béziers cathedral.  Once again, there is no overlook on the back of the building either, giving you complete privacy.  The apartment is a third floor walkup without elevator.

The Area - Béziers

Everybody in the area knows the Allées Paul Riquet as it is the most prestigious address in town.  The Allees Paul Riquet got completely renovated in 2022 including doubling the width of the sidewalks.  The southern part of the Allees Paul Riquet is adjoined by the Park of Poets, the biggest park in Beziers.   This apartment overlooks this park.  The park closes at night time.  The train station is at the bottom of the hill, about 400 meters away on foot.  There are several supermarkets within walking distance of your front door.  The Beziers Theathre is at the north end of the Allees Paul Riquet and has plenty of evening shows to choose from.
