Mountain View Apartment

The Mountain View Apartment - Long Term rental property in Béziers (Occitanie), the south of France.

This completely renovated apartment has beautiful views of the mountains, which is why we called it Mountain View Apartment.  It is located very close to the Béziers Cathedral.  Situated on the second floor, all the rooms are very quiet and light.  The entire apartment has been completely renovated in 2022 and has all new appliances.  All windows have double-paned glass and all walls have been insulated.  Electricity and plumbing have all been redone as well by professionals.  This rental apartment comes with high-speed internet and cable TV with about 800 channels including BBC News, CNN News, and National Geographic.  There are Westinghouse ceiling fans in each room which are ultra-quiet and are remote controlled.  The bookcase came with us from Alabama and has a large collection of books mostly in English.  The apartment sleeps two people in its current setup.

The Area - Béziers (Occitanie) Rental Apartment in the south of France

This area is very popular with tourists and therefore has many restaurants to choose from.  A new 4-star hotel (open in 2023) in front of the Cathedral has made this area even more attractive as the city has invested considerably in this area.  For example, there now is a new walkway with elevators that starts at the cathedral and leads all the way to the Orb River and the Nine Locks on the Canal Du Midi.  The new hotel also features a top-rated restaurant.

Place des Bon Amis is just 45 meters from your front door and has restaurants that are open all year.  From Place des Bon Amis you can take Rue Viennet and end up at the Place du Forum, which is about 170 meters away.  The Place du Forum is home to the tourist office and the town hall.  It has several restaurants as well.
