Fully Equipped Dordogne Holiday Gite with Pool in Carlux Welcome to Les Gites de Carlux, 12 self-catering holiday Gites located on a 1½ hectare site overlooking the picturesque village of Carlux, in the heart of the Dordogne. Les Gites de Carlux, situated 2km from the Dordogne river and 15km from Sarlat and Souillac provides an ideal base to enjoy one of France's most beautiful regions. Within 40 minutes drive you will find many of the Dordgone and Lot's principal sites including Rocamadour, Les Eyzies, Domme, Beynac and Lascaux. The network of rivers centred on the Dordogne and the Vézère ensure that the region remains lush and green throughout the year. Les Gites de Carlux is set in a 2½ acre site surrounded on 2 sides by woods. The site enjoys spectacular views over the village of Carlux and its XIII century château. Each self-catering holiday Gite has been fully renovated to ensure a comfortable holiday home. Standard self catering Gites have 1 or 2 bedrooms, sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people in spacious accommodation, with a large living/dining room (30m²), corner kitchen and open fire. Deluxe self catering Gites have 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms sleeping 2, 4 or 6 people. Our three bedroom Gites can accommodate an extra cot. The layout of each self-catering holiday Gite varies slightly but each property has very spacious accommodation with large living rooms and generously sized bedrooms. A number of self-catering holiday Gites are specially equipped for young children. Each of our self catering Gites has a private terrace with garden furniture, deck chairs or sun loungers and barbecue.

First floor: Large Double bedroom with king size bed (160 X 200)

General: The Gîte is fully equipped. There are two single sofa beds in the living room. All linen, tea towels, towels, pool towels (during the swimming season) are provided. The kitchen has a full range of crockery, glasses, cooking utensils and is equipped with fridge, microwave, cooker hob with 4 gas rings and an exterior barbecue. A range of cleaning products and basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, herbs and mustard) are included in the price. There is parking for one car located close to the Gîte.
