Château de la Couronne offers an exclusive Three-Day Wedding Weekend in the picturesque countryside of southwest France, starting with a relaxed welcome party on Friday featuring drinks and sharing boards. On Saturday, say "I do" in the enchanting gardens, followed by canapés and cocktails on the terrace, an elegant three-course meal in the courtyard, and an after-party in the banquet hall. Finally, on Sunday, unwind at a stylish poolside party with a live pizza station, garden games, and an afternoon barbecue.
 
The château proudly features a private catering team that provides catering for the duration of your stay, eliminating the need for external caterers or self-catering while experienced planners handle every detail to ensure a seamless event. 
 
Specializing in luxury weddings, the château offers full exclusivity of its 5-acre estate, which includes enchanting gardens with fountains, woodlands,  a large swimming pool, and open spaces perfect for events or even helicopter landings. 
 
With 16 stylish bedrooms accommodating up to 39 guests and 9 salons including a billiard room, cinema room, onsite bar and the banquet which serves as a backup up encase of bad weather. 
 
Conveniently located just one hour away from Limoges airport, the château also offers easy access to Paris, Bordeaux, Poitiers, and Bergerac airports and the TGV fast train. 
 
Nearby Amenities 
Just 20 minutes from the bustling little city of Angouleme, Marthon is two hours drive from Bordeaux, and only 2hrs 15mins by TGV from Paris.  Marthon has a tabac, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, pizzeria, cinema and a doctor - a living, working village that has retained its community feel. With numerous restaurants within a short drive of the chateau, and countless acres of unspoiled French countryside.
 
Interior Details
Hired on an exclusive bases, The chateau features the grand banquet hall which opens up onto the courtyard, as does the lounge bar which is open during evening meals and events. With many salons such to lounge or socialise in, such as the media room with Netflix entrainment in the cinema room, billiard room with slate-bed US pool table, drawing room with french doors leading onto the terrace, you won’t be short of space. 
 
The Chateau offers nine recently decorated bedrooms and eight bathrooms, all with hairdryers, Nespresso coffee machines, luxury bathing products by Penhaligon’s, plush towels for both bath and pool. All rooms have WiFi and air-conditioning or fans. The laundry room with several washers and dryers are available for guest use.
 
For more accommodation on the estate, we offer The Coach House and the Garden Suite sleeping a further 15 people.
 
The Coach House is a quirky yet luxury apartment overlooking the courtyard and the grandest of the Chateau. The kitchen has an American fridge/freezer, double oven and all cooking appliances provided. Leading on is the lounge complimented with a wood burner (for those cosy winter nights!) and a smart TV.

The Garden Suite steps out into the rear chateau gardens where you can lounge on the terrace. Inside boasts a large log burner, seating and dining area. The Garden suite offers a wet room and disabled access.
