Chalet très confortable, chauffé, eau chaude, serviette et tout le confort en cuisine ! Un canapé au top et une jolie vue sur la montagne. Pas loin du centre ville et des pistes. Un propriétaire très sympathique et donnant de bonnes indications et des conseils pour le chalet et les environs. Je recommande vivement de passer votre séjour en ces lieux !

Chalet agréable et bien équipé. Malgré le manque de neige, nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'équipement de la cuisine - quand on aime cuisiner, c'est fantastique, le confort du canapé et le nombre de fauteuils (cela nous a changé du traditionnel clic-clac). Sans oublier l'accueil bien organisé et chaleureux des propriétaires. Reste à améliorer l'équipement en chambre (la petite manque de rangement) ainsi que la porte de la première chambre double qui ne se ferme pas. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer une belle semaine de vacances et nous recommandons cette location.

Très agréable séjour au chalet VIF tout équipé, les lits sont fait à l' arrivée et le linge de toilette fourni. A 200 m des navettes gratuites et à 500 m du joli village du Grand Bornand. Je conseille ce Chalet pour un séjour en famille, vous ne serais pas déçu. Nous remercions les propriétaires.

To echo previous reviews... the chalet is lovely, in a nice location and excellently equipped.

We had a lovely week there and will def go back at some point (except that some lucky folk have already booked it for the only dates we can make next year). Maybe 2012?

It was our first visit to Le Grand Bornand and Chalet Vif.The Chalet had everthing you could need was very comfortable.

We spent christmas in the mountains with Family and what a fantastic place to spend the festive season. The view from the chalets homley. snug and warm front room was a sight to be hold snow covered mountains and chalets nestled on the slopes WOW. The village was great with festive lights and atmosphere. Some good places to eat we enjoyed a great meal in the pizza restaraunt both food and service was great.Each morning we had fresh bread and pastries from the Patisseries in the village square.

We hope to return in the summer to see another side of Grand Bernand and what it has to offer.

It has now been our 3rd time to the Grand Bornand and to stay at the Chalet Vif and will not be our last.... The chalet is like home from home with all your comfort and needs. We are a family of four and love our skiing and when returning back to the warm chalet and chilling out on the sofa it was so relaxing. The snow was fantastic this year again and we took advantage of going to La Cluses whilst we had the 2 weeks there and what an amazing place. This took only about a 10 - 15 minute drive or in the town there are buses that can take you, well worth going. On the Whole it was yet again a great family holiday

Chalet Vif was the perfect property for our long weekend boarding in Le Grand Bornand.

The chalet had everything we could have asked for, beautiful views over the valley and cable car, large spacious rooms, constant hot water to ease our aching bones and easy access to the centre of the village and the gorgeous patisseries.

We hated having to leave and would return in an instant. We would definitely book the chalet again.

A real home from home experience. Very comfortable and a good location for a ski holiday with the convenience of a Ski bus 3 mins walk away or altneratively using your car a good location to other piste resorts.

The accomodation met our needs with a clean comfortable apartment complimented with generous amount of equipment for self catering. I would certainly recommend this to all. We ate out at La Boheme in the town of Grand Bornand which was good food and no smoking. Ideally you need to drive to town but it is only 5 minutes away so you could walk if you have the energy after a full day of skiing.
