We are situated in the heart of the Pyrénées, within easy reach of both sandy Mediterranean beaches and ski-resorts - offering the best of both worlds. The tranquil setting boasts breath-taking mountain views in all directions.
With two acres of landscaped gardens, swimming pool, boules court, gym and wifi, La Châtaigneraie offers the perfect base for a holiday with something for all the family. Exclusive Use bookings enjoy use of a large central kitchen fully equipped to cater for 30 people. Accommodation is bright, airy and well-equipped with en-suite facilities – a fantastic rustic location with contemporary style and comfort!
It is just a short, scenic 10 – 15 minute riverside walk to the local bistro in the village of Sahorre. The famous spa town of Vernet les Bains is less than 2 miles away with a wider selection of shops, activities, thermal spa and restaurants. There are many local markets to explore and fêtes and festivals are a regular feature of village life.
For Exclusive Use you can either book the entire property for up to 28, or for smaller groups of up to 16 people you may book just the main house (excluding La Capsole) with Petit Gite as an optional extra, and still have Exclusive Use of the whole site.
We can offer:

- Larger groups of 20 – 28 can have Exclusive Use of the whole property for a truly spectacular and well-equipped venue

Prices are per week self-catering
Price includes: all utilities (including gas barbeques and heating when required), bed linen, bath towels and end-of-stay cleaning along with full use of all facilities including wifi, swimming pool, gym, boules court, gardens and bicycles
Prices quoted for “Exclusive Use” are for self-catering accommodation.
It may be possible to accommodate an additional younger person on a ‘z-bed’ or cot – please contact us to discuss your requirements
Changeover days are usually on a Saturday but we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements and will be as flexible as possible, especially outside of peak season

Prices from €82 per room per night (2 people).
Price includes continental breakfast. Guests have use of all facilities including wifi, swimming pool, gym and lounge with television.
Single-person discount of €8.50 per room per night.
Payment
25% deposit required to secure booking.
Full payment required 8 weeks prior to holiday.
A refundable security deposit of €200 will be taken with final payment for each unit of self-catering accommodation
Payment is accepted by bank to bank transfer or PayPal.
B&B payments are also accepted by French cheque, credit card or cash on arrival.
