ACCOMMODATION:

All rooms are lovingly restored and maintain their Provencal character. They are richly furnished and feature fine silk curtains, hand crafted rosewood furniture, sandstone floors, onyx wash basins and marble baths.

The gardens are well maintained and consist of several different terraces each with their own panoramic views of the rural mountain location. This is the Alpes of Haute Provence after all!

The view to the north is the pretty Provence town of St-Andre-les-Alpes which is dominated by the mountain of Le Chalvet (1609m) where you will see many hang gliders and paragliders descending under the reliable sunny weather and blue skies.

To the east is the delightfully positioned and private heated swimming pool where you can soak up the sun, cool in the shade or take a relaxing swim whilst surrounded by mountain views, bird song and the bells of the grazing sheep and goats.

On the south terrace you can enjoy a BBQ and look over the azur waters of Lac de Castillon where bathing and water sports are on offer from the different beaches.

To the west is the small chapel of St Martin where you can take the 10 minute stroll to the top of the knoll over looking the Chateau. A perfect spot for a bit of sunset watching or star gazing.
