Seventeenth century stone manor house comprising 7 bedrooms, 4 living rooms, all well maintained and equipped. The property is set in 1.25 ha and boasts beautiful views from the terraces. It is located in the centre of medieval Seillans, one of France's most beautiful villages.

Recently refurbished the house offers seven bedrooms, kitchen, dining, living, reception and conservatory living rooms. All with beautiful views over Seillans, the valley and mountains and/or our private garden. Capacity for 14, but ideal for multiple family or friend groups of 12 (or less) with 8 adults. Modern bath/shower rooms on each of the 3 floors of bedrooms. Wifi and free (VOIP) telephone calls to over 50 countries. Beamed living room offers HDTV, DVD, Apple TV and digital music system. Table tennis and table football provided in ground floor reception area. Attached single garage, guarantees local parking.

The House Grounds: The house faces south and enjoys spectacular views over the village, surrounding countryside and distant Esterel mountains. The half acre terraced garden is pleasantly planted with flowering shrubs, fruit trees and lawns. The garden is complemented by several paved terraces, which are each furnished with a mix of hardwood sun chairs and loungers. The shady external dining terrace is furnished with a 3m hardwood table and teak chairs and equipped with a large Argentinian charcoal BBQ. An 9.5m x 4.5m swimming pool, with alarm, is also set in a sunny terrace.

This historic holiday home provides a unique mix of location, space, flexibility, privacy and charm. The house interior is full of character, attractively and comfortably decorated in a mixture of local antiques and modern furnishings. The floors are set in marble or old Provencal tiles. The accommodation is on five levels, with half-landings between them.

Guests will enjoy spectacular views over the old town and the Esterel mountains. Everything is within easy walking distance of the centre of the old town. One minutes walk for morning croissants, or the local restaurants!

The property lies in the heart of Seillans old town, over looking both the Place-de-la-Republic and Place-du-Thouron. The Place-du-Thouron is home to ‘La Gloire de Mon Pere’ restaurant, a boulangerie and a small epicerie. The Place-de-la-Republic is the principal village square and provides space for boules and car parking. As the principal village meeting place, the Place-de-la-Republic hosts various village events throughout the year, such as; a small weekly farmers market, occasional antique fairs and the annual ‘Bastille Day’ celebration. As you would expect of such a central location in the old town, some noise from village life and celebration is inevitable at times.

CLEANING FEE: £450 PER WEEK.

Refundable Damage Deposit £650.

Weekly rental rates will be increased by £300 per week for groups of 13.

Payments can be made by BACS or by Credit Card. Credit card transaction fees are not included in the quoted rental rates and will be recovered at cost; 1.4% for UK cards, 1.9% for EU cards and 2.4% for cards issued outside of the EU.
