Comfortable 4 bedroom holiday home that can easily accommodate up to 9 guests. Kabarole is a new barn conversion that enjoys complete privacy from the beautiful 12th Century manoir known as La Meynardie. La Meynardie is just a short walk from Siorac de Ribérac, a picturesque village with a Romanesque church and a charming restaurant / bar with outside seating. Siorac is located on the edge of the Forêt de la Double, a fantastic nature reserve that is ideal for walking, cycling and observing the local wild life. The lake of La Jemaye is situated nearby and is great for picnics, swimming, canoeing, and numerous other activities.

Kabarole itself comprises a large living / dining area with stone fireplace. There is WIFI, TV/DVD and games for children are available. The rooms on the ground floor, including 2 of the bedrooms, open out on to a lovely south-facing veranda which runs the full length of the building. The house is wheelchair accessible and one bathroom has been specifically adapted for disabled people. Guests have the option to enjoy sole use of the 6 x 12m swimming pool which has been built into the hillside above Kabarole.

The swimming pool is closed during the low season. During the mid and high season, a supplement for exclusive use of the swimming pool is €185 or £160 per week.

The rates are from 6.00pm on Saturday to 10.00am the following Saturday. Grateful if these times are respected to provide the minimum time to prepare the house between guests. Rates include gas, water, electricity, bed linen and towels (including additional towels for the swimming pool). Radiators are provided during the low season and firewood available at cost price. The rates assume that the house will be left by the guests as clean as it was found on arrival.

Bookings can be secured by advance payment of 40% of the rent for the full duration of the booking (including the swimming pool supplement where applicable). The balance of 60% must be paid six weeks before arrival. Refunds will be provided for cancellations six weeks before the arrival date less 25%, which will be charged as a cancellation fee. Refunds four to six weeks before the arrival date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refund is available for cancellations less than four weeks before arrival.

A security deposit of €320 or £280 must be paid with the balance of the rent confirming the booking six weeks before arrival. The security deposit shall be returned to the tenant after deducting extra charges such as damages, extra cleaning, bank charges etc. It will be returned in full in the event of no such charges or cancellation.

For the convenience and comfort of all visitors we insist that no smoking is allowed in the house. It is acceptable only outside on the open veranda where ashtrays must be used. In certain cases pets may be allowed, but they must stay outside the house.
