Chez Galy is a typical Perigord farmhouse, which consists of an original cottage and attached barn, which has been converted into modern living space. It is the perfect rustic farmhouse holiday getaway. The property is just 1 hour from Bergerac, 2 hours from Bordeaux and 45min from Angouleme, in the heart of the French countryside. It is 5 to 6 Hours from Caen Ferry Port or Newhaven - Dieppe.

Downstairs there is a large country kitchen that seats 12-16, this leads to a Snug TV room, large cloakroom and downstairs bedroom 5, with 1 double and 1 bunks. Adjacent to the bedroom is a shower and WC room.

Upstairs there is a large sitting with wood burner, that leads to a morning sun terrace and off this a hallway to 4 more double bedrooms. Each bedroom features a typical antique french bed and furnishings.

Bedroom 3 - largest double in original farmhouse with views to the front garden, exposed stone.

Bedroom 5 - on ground floor with double and bunkbeds as children's room or family bedroom and adjacent shower room.

Off the hall there is a bathroom with cast iron slipper bath and WC.
There is an additional shower room with twin sinks and WC.
Bathrooms have seperate hot water systems.

There is a laundry in the outside garage below the balcony.
LPG Gas cooking and large double fridge freezer.

Outside - Garden tables and chairs for 12, BBQ, Pool and pool furniture and table tennis table. The house is set in 12 acres of rural and tranquil farmland. In summer the farmer gowns either maize or sunflowers that surrounds 1.5 acre garden.
