Les Noisettes is a charming, semi-detached farmhouse with its own private pool. It is very spacious and offers comfortable family accommodation despite appearing slightly smaller! It is situated in a small hamlet, ensuring privacy without isolation.
The farmhouse comprises 3 double bedrooms, 2 with double beds, one with en suite shower/WC and cot. The third has 2 single beds and a mezzanine area. Duvet/linen and house towels are provided. There is a family bathroom and WC plus a separate WC.
The spacious farmhouse kitchen has an original bread oven (now used as an open fireplace) and is is well equipped with a large stand alone cooker, table/chairs, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and a good supply of crockery, cutlery, etc.The welcoming lounge has a wood burning stove, sofa, armchairs, TV, DVD, video and a dining area. Outside there is a 2 tier patio with ample garden furniture and barbecue. The top tier overlooks the pool, large garden and surrounding countryside. The property is very child friendly and safe, due to the fact that it is set back off the road. Les Noisettes is perfect for family holidays!
The electric radiators provide good heating and there is an open bread oven fireplace in the kitchen as well as a wood burning stove in the lounge. There is also a washing machine at the property.
There is a telephone for use to landlines only, and the property has wifi installed throughout.
The large private pool has an alarm and must be switched on when it is not in use. The garden is perfect for little ones as they have plenty of space to run around! There is an outdoor grill and dining area, with plenty of seating - perfect for summer barbecues!
Les Noisettes is approx. 20kms south of Bergerac (the nearest airport) and 15 kms south east of Ste Foy la Grande ( a pretty market town). With the Dordogne flowing between these two towns there are plenty of opportunities to take a boat trip and discover the beauty of the area. Or for the more energetic why not hire a canoe and explore at your leisure.
It is located in the famous Bergerac/Mombazillac wine growing region. The wine routes are indicated and most producers offer free tasting.
Local markets abound and there is always something happening in local villages during the summer evenings, from night markets to oyster festivals and medieval re-enactments.
