” We spent 7 days at this wonderful villa. It was spotless. It was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool was very clean and the sun beds very comfy. We visited Cahors, Salviac and our favourite place was Sarlat. We would recommend this villa and hope to return again in the future. Graham and Dee were excellent with dealing with our booking and always responded to any emails. ”

“We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Papillon. We loved the house, my young daughters were very comfortable in the bedroom with 2 beds and the downstairs bedroom with en suite was perfect for my elderly mother in law. The family bathroom upstairs has a wonderful bath tub! The house has lovely views of the countryside and is quiet and peaceful. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The outside area is very relaxing. The pool is large and clean and heated to a comfortable temperature. We made good use of the BBQ. I’m sure we will be back in the future.”

“We had a fantastic holiday at Le Papillon. This place is absolutely amazing, so spacious with exposed oak beams, all high spec making the place feel very cosy. The exterior has an amazing heated swimming pool with lovely views overlooking woodland, an amazing place to sit and relax over a glass or two on an evening. Fantastic cycling on the doorstep with local restaurants only a short drive away with amazing food and fine wines. Also within easy reach of local attractions such as Domme, Rocamadour and Chateau des Milandes. We both had one of our best holidays to date at this little gem of a place and it was hard to leave it all behind. We love this place and hope to return soon.”

Evening sunsets on the terrace with a glass of wine, overlooking the pool was lovely. Interesting places to visit around the area and some wonderful restaurants. “ We had a wonderful time at Le Papillon. We loved the traditional design – stone, wooden frame with proper joints and pegs, the tower – as well as the space. We loved the swimming pool most of all – south-facing, surrounded by excellent paving covering a big area, the lights and bubbles. We loved the area too. We’ve visited other areas of France before but not here. The climate, the scenery, the lovely colored stone; its like the Cotswolds but with sunshine.
