We here, that is Ann and I, at the A10 Gites in the Charente Maritime, are focused on providing a high-quality service and most importantly complete customer satisfaction. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations for a truly memorable and enjoyable holiday experience in this lovely part of France. Some of the best wines in the world originate from the vineyards in this area as well as household named Cognacs such as Martell and Remy Martin and where magnificent sunsets are the norm over the local rolling hills, vineyards and sunflower fields.
These traditional old farmhouse Gite properties are basically made of wood and stones, with the latter dominating. Inside the houses, stones, staircases and beams are exposed and there are traditional stone fireplaces in each, which gives an outstanding style to these houses. Typically Charentaise houses like these are often located in tranquil hamlets and this is most definitely the case with ours.
With a variety of Gite accommodation to choose from starting with Moineau and Hibou which can sleep up to five guests each and Hirondelle which can sleep up to eight guests, we are sure you'll be more than happy to be staying with us in the Charente Maritime. All of the beds whether single or double are full UK size and are all situated in large bedrooms so there is no overcrowding or any feeling of being hemmed in. All kitchens are well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
All Gites are provided with Free To View Satellite TV including all main UK programes (SKY decoder boxes so bring your own card to watch SKY programes) with DVD and Radio/CD players for entertainment. Wi-Fi is also available through an Orange Hot Spot Box but some clients have found they had to be outside to obtain a good connection due to the thickness of the stone walls. Additionally guests have the use of the swimming pool, Bar-B-Q and Boules areas as well as the half acre open field which is suitable for badminton and ball games etc. The open country views from these areas and the Gite terraces are truly wonderful.
Moineau Gite sleeps 5 people in 2 bedrooms.Open plan living and dining room with fully fitted kitchen including gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave. SKY satellite, flat screen TV with DVD player built in and a CD radio are also provided for guests enjoyment. Washing machine/tumble dryer available at small charge in Utility Room. Playing cards & a range of board games are also available.
