Our property consists of a large 18th century manor house where we live, with a large gîte on either side, the third being in an old barn, renovated and refurbished.
Each gite has its own independent entrance, its garden with barbecue and garden furniture so that everyone can be quiet, including us!
12 km from Sarlat, the Jardins du Périgord gîte is designed to comfortably accommodate 4 people (2 air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms). In addition to your private garden with barbecue and garden furniture, you also have a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and a hilly and bucolic landscape. The heated infinity salt swimming pool (14m x 6m), sauna, jacuzzi, massage chair and games room are shared with the other gites - and with ourselves, on occasion.
Weekly rental rates (from Saturday 4 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m.): from € 1,000 to € 1,610, sheets and towels, end-of-stay cleaning included, excluding tourist tax. For weekends (3 or 4 days) except July and August, see our weekend packages.
It is an independent and over-equipped cottage that will allow you to fully enjoy the relaxation on site and the discovery of the exceptional sites of the Dordogne : The vast majority of sites (Sarlat, Lascaux, Les Eyzies, the gardens of Marqueyssac or Eyrignac, the castles of Beynac or Castelnaud - to name a few) are less than an hour away by car, while the Dordogne is one of the largest French departments, but with small roads as charming as they are sinuous.
Cottage in Black Périgord | Wifi | Safe and heated salt pool | Jacuzzi | Sauna | Massage armchair | Non-smoker | Reversible air conditioning in the bedrooms | Terrace and private garden with barbecue and garden furniture | Animals by prior arrangement | Bicycles available | Games room | Toys and Games | Table tennis | Table football | Access for people with reduced mobility | Free parking.
It is therefore a small, comfortable gîte, but with a living area of 100 m². We offer it for 4 people, in order to preserve the calm of the property. This independent building was originally a barn. It faces the Charterhouse, that is to say a manor house which has the same configuration as the Château de Moulinsart, but without stairs and without a Mansart roof. We have transformed part of the ground floor of the barn into a playroom, keeping the other part as well as the entire length of the floor for the gîte. But the restoration has taken great care to keep the exposed beams of the 18th century frame.
Upon entering, you are in the fully equipped kitchen / dining room (electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle, kitchen utensils, classic coffee maker and Nespresso machine , Sodastream). The living room has a table, 4 chairs, a shelf, a chest of drawers, and a standing man, a piece of furniture that contains quality crockery. The living room opens onto a beautiful terrace with parasol, bench, armchairs, coffee table and deckchairs. The terrace is oriented south / south-east so takes advantage of the sunshine all day. Under the stairs is a bathroom with shower and toilet, with a washing machine. There is also an iron and ironing board and a shared tumble dryer is available in the shed.
Upstairs, a large hallway runs from end to end under the exposed beams. We first arrive in the living room which offers a sofa, two armchairs, a flat screen TV, a DVD player with DVDs, a Hifi system with CDs, a coffee table, two pedestal tables and a bookcase.
From there we go to the Jardins d'Eyrignac room, with two 90 cm beds, two nightstands, a chest of drawers, a chair - and air conditioning, because the walls are thinner than in the Charterhouse and the volumes are more reasonable.
The adjoining room is the Jardins de Marqueyssac room which has a 160 bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a desk, a chair, air conditioning, and an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet. The wardrobe does not allow hanging clothes, we installed a wardrobe in the hallway.
