This farm cottage affords a comfortable home from which to explore the surrounding region with many walking trails through oak forests and fields to neighbouring hamlets and a short drive to the medieval town of La Tour Blanche for shops and restaurants.
The building is free-standing with an attached barn for parking. There is a walled patio and BBQ area to the rear and a small lawn with fruit trees at the front.
Kitchen complete with a breakfast nook and wood burning fireplace it is fully equipped including a gas stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine coffee maker, toaster, dishes and utensils. T-towels and cleaning products are provided.
Low-beamed spacious lounge with electric fireplace, sectional sofa-bed, and chairs, Satellite TV (in French and English), DVDs, CDs, books, games and travel brochures.
The dining room suite with seating for 4 is set in the large living room adjacent to the kitchen.
A modern bathroom with shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Loo paper, hairdryer, towels and storage shelves are provided.
The first large double bedroom has a wardrobe, chairs, bedside tables and lamps. A cot is available. The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and side-tables with lamps as well as a fold-down bed.
At the rear, leading from the kitchen, you have a private walled patio area overlooking beautiful countryside, with BBQ, parasol and furniture for al fresco dining with access to the barn and parking.
The lovely towns of Bourdeilles and Brantome are just 20-25 minutes drive away. Explore the historic towns of Perigueux, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Bergerac, St. Emillion and Bordeaux.
