Rural Country Cottage in Centre France - A Paradise For Nature Lovers quiet and calm but a short drive to activities

Ancient Country Holiday Cottage, Les Fragnons, located 3.8km from Châteaumeillant, renovated to a delightful rural retreat for two people and a paradise for nature lovers. The birds dawn chorus is wonderful. Set in an area suitable for many great outdoor activities including walking, horse riding, fishing, golf, chateaux, sight seeing- It's ideally situated 25mins from La Chatre with shops and restaurants and Saint Amond Montron, train station,shops,etc, 45mins from Bourges and 2hr from Paris. Chateaux to view, Gardens, Largest Zoo in France. This charming property has a lovely garden with views of surrounding countryside, there is a large patio area for out door eating, the cottage has a bedroom with four poster bed and on-suite, living room, a flat-screen TV, sofa and chair etc, dining table, the  kitchenis fully equiped for self catering with a washing machine, refrigerator and a cooker, toaster, kettle etc..
Towels and bed linen are provided.

The cottage is fully fitted out to cater for meals although there are restaurants 10 mins and 25 away. Also the local Intermarche and fuel station is 10mins away. Set in the heart of the French countryside with lovely views all around with no near neighbours, great opportunities for walking and there is plenty of wildlife to admire.There are Chateaux, museums and gardens to visit as well as a bit further away Zoos, water parks etc, you do need a car. George Sands the writers house is a local attraction.There is a local lake with sandy beach and activities. The dawn chorus is amazing. The other nearby villages are small but the town Chateaumeillant has facilities incuding doctors, clinic, and a Chateaux and museums and is only 10 mins away.

The Owners:
​Tony and I enjoy meeting new people. We both love to garden and are keen wildlife watchers. I also like to paint. We have a horse and donkey who also love people.
This is a very small village and, in fact, we are the only property in Les Fragnons.
