Nigel & Paula Colman welcome you to Normandy and their delightful rural holiday cottages at Le Haut Fresnay: La Fermette sleeps six, and Le Fournil sleeps four. A cot can be added to either cottage to accommodate a baby.
La Fermette and Le Fournil are converted farm buildings and date from around 1840. They are part of the small hamlet of Le Haut Fresnay, which is situated just over half a mile away from the village of Loré. The market town of Céaucé is about 2 miles away and the mediaeval town of Domfront is 8 miles away.
We hope our cottages offer you just what you’ll need to relax and unwind from the stresses and strains of busy working lives. The peace and tranquillity of the local countryside are what most people notice on arrival and are one of their most enduring memories when they leave.

La Fermette's ground floor consists of a large living/dining room with a separate, though visible kitchen.
There are comfortable chairs and a sofa, coffee tables, lamps, a dining table and 6 chairs.
Heating is by a large wood burning stove and 2 radiators. The rear window overlooks a patio with a table and armchairs.
The front window overlooks a small front garden.
The kitchen, with fitted units, has an electric oven with ceramic hob, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric kettle and 2 door fridge/freezer.
Off the back hall, which also gives access to the garden and the stairs, is a shower room with hand basin and a separate wc.
Upstairs, off the spacious landing with its stair gate, there are three prettily furnished bedrooms, two double and a twin.
All have wardrobes, mirrors, dressing tables and bedside tables, all with lamps
