If you want a holiday where you can cool off with kids in a fenced-off, safe pool; read books whilst they entertain themselves in the large garden; and cycle around flat, traffic-free lanes then this is the place for you.

If you want to explore, then the fantastic beaches of the Atlantic coast are a short drive away, with the most beautiful sand and waves you could wish for. In the other direction, the estuary is pleasant, too, with some nice walks. Try the 'Phare du Richard' - great photo opportunity if your youngest is called Richard (ours is).

The villa is clean, light, and well equipped and easily accomodates our family of six.

All in all a great holiday, and we've already booked again for 2012!

Haere Mai is a delightful homely cottage ideal for families. The cottage is clean, light and with plenty of space, a perfect family home from home. The house is accurately described and is well equipped with everything you need, from the kitchen equipment to the games, books, wifi, tv and videos. The bedrooms are lovely with good quality comfortable beds and plenty of storage space.

We have four young teenagers who throughly enjoyed the lovely pool, playing in the huge garden and using the bicycles to cycle on the many cycle paths to explore and visit local villages.

The owners provided excellent service, making sure we had settled in and that everything was in order; they are friendly and helpful and at the end of the phone with any problems which were quickly resolved. (Couldn't work the microwave!)

The house itself is in its own grounds, is peaceful, set in a quiet location but only a short drive or cycle ride to the local villages and beaches. The beaches and waves are fabulous and easy to get to with life guards and safe swimming areas in the main areas. The nearest coastal town is only 15minutes away and has a regular market and plenty of restaurants.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing family holiday yet close to all the amenities then I would throughly recommend this cottage. We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending the cottage to our friends and relatives.

The cottage is in the perfect spot for families and non-families!
We stayed here with our 4 and 2 year olds and all had a great time.
The cottage was well equipped for us all - the children had great fun in the pool and running around the huge garden (garden makes it sound small!).
It is 5 mins drive from local village with restaurants, chemist, mini market, butchers etc... and 10 mins from nearest beach.
Great cottage, great location - would definately recommend it.
Ooh and we had fantastic weather (mid July).
