Le Logis Rouge is a charming guest house located near La Rochelle, in Charron. The house comprises three elegantly furnished rooms set on a 3000 m² property. Guests will enjoy the wonderful garden, swimming pool and breathtaking views of the marsh as far as the eye can see. The Logis Rouge combines modern comfort with authentic charm, and is Ideal for a relaxing getaway. 

The first trace of the Logis Rouge dates back to 1820, when two aligned dwellings belonged respectively to a farmer and a merchant. The dwelling, in its current form, was built in 1889, as evidenced by the date engraved above the door of the manor house. The Logis Rouge was notably occupied by a notary who had set up his office and his home there. In the 20th century, several extensions were added. The three guest rooms were created after a complete renovation of the building, in the former stables of our La Rochelle guest house.

Charron, a charming commune in Charente-Maritime with 2,000 inhabitants, is located near La Rochelle. This peaceful village provides an authentic living environment, set in the heart of the Aunis region. The landscapes of the commune are characterized by marsh areas and low coasts typical of the coastal landscapes of this region. In addition, Charron benefits from the tourist proximity of La Rochelle, the Île de Ré and the Marais Poitevin, thus attracting many visitors.

Le Logis Rouge offers three carefully furnished guest rooms:

La Boucholeuse : For 2 people, it pays homage to local mussel farming.
L'Aunisienne : Ideal for a family, it can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child under 14 years old.
La Maraîchine : For 2 people, it celebrates the surrounding marsh landscapes.
Each room is equipped with high-end bedding, fiber Wi-Fi, air conditioning, modern bathroom, and courtesy tray.

The swimming pool:
From the first fine days of May, our guest house with swimming pool opens its doors to you for a stay combining comfort and relaxation. Thanks to its telescopic dome, the swimming pool heats up quickly and maintains a pleasant temperature between 26 and 30 degrees throughout the season. Every evening, the dome is closed to guarantee your safety and preserve the heat of the water, thus offering an optimal experience.

It is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is not supervised and any minor must be accompanied by an adult.

Its wooden terrace is equipped with deckchairs and parasols.

Pool towels can be provided.
