Super séjour chez Maxine. A notre arrivée, pleins des petites attentions: sapin Noël avec petits cadeaux pour les enfants et une bouteille pour les parents. Maison très accueillante. :) Logement très propre et très bien équipé. Super environnement... Les enfants étaient ravis... et nous aussi. Je recommande.

We had an excellent stay in this charming, very comfortable cottage with a lot of character. (wood stove, warm atmosphere). We took advantage of the calm, the green nature and the attractions of the region. We were also touched by the little touches on our arrival. We highly recommend this place.

Superbe séjour dans un endroit au calme dans la nature. Maxine et Martin étaient au petit soin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié leur petite attention à l'arrivée (vin, chocolat, baguette et tout ce qu'il faut pour bien petit-déjeuner le lendemain). Nous avons aussi opter pour le dîner que proposent Maxine et Martin, et franchement, c'était trèèès bon pour un trèèèès bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons bien profité de notre séjour dans le calme et l'hospitalité. Nous y retournerons certainement!

What a great weekend in this accommodation! Beautiful exterior typical of the region. Interior ditto. The charm and character have been preserved. Very clean cottage. Linen ditto. Sufficient for 3 to 4 people. Absolutely charming hosts, and discreet, but present if necessary. Very kind and helpful. When we arrived, lots of little attentions awaited us (beers, bottle of wine, soda and smarties for our son, jam, butter, fresh water, bread). We ordered 3 meals from those offered. That was delicious. And served with a lovely bouquet of flowers waiting for us. We would have thought we were at the restaurant! We were looking for a foothold to come and see the family there: we found it and will be back with great pleasure!

We have just spent 4 wonderful days in this lovely estate where the English hosts are lovely, discreet and very helpful !! The little house of happiness is perfectly equipped for 2 adults and 2 children including a baby (cot, high chair, baby bath)! The temperature of the house is perfect thanks to the auxiliary heating! Our eldest and our 2 dogs loved the garden in this pretty and large estate! We just brought our coffee pod machine because we're addicted to it !! A superb place which allows you to visit the area but which is also 45 minutes from Mont Saint Michel! We look forward to returning!!!

Maxine and Martin are wonderful hosts. The cottage was sparkling clean, and is a neat place to stay and relax. The nearby town of Sourdeval is superb. Highly recommended to all.

Warm and smiling welcome from Maxine and Martin, accompanied by small gifts in the accommodation on our arrival. The Bakkery house is typical Norman. Very nice view over the rolling Normandy countryside. We took advantage of a hike around the Sée, a few minutes from the house. The "La Manchevrette" goat farm is nearby and can be visited by appointment.

This accommodation is quiet and lovely. The interior is gorgeous with the old bakery beams visible. There were kind touches left throughout, including plenty of towels and fresh linen, soap, packets of shampoo, beer, butter, eggs, and bread on arrival. The wood burner works very well and is a relaxing touch. The TV can be tuned to the language of the visitor. The grounds are well kept and have a fun cow and tractor for the kids to play on. The stairs are safe for kids to climb, and everyone slept well in the beds. All in all I would love to return. Recommended!
