My stay at this apartment was great. It had everything you could need, which was especially good as eating out was quite expensive so the kitchen facilities were really appreciated. The service provided was also brilliant with lots of information about the area and quick responses to any queries. I would definitley reccommend this apartment.

My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon in this charming apartment in Vieux Nice. The pictures on the internet didn't even do it justice. It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped and has a walm, welcoming feel. A very romantic and relaxing place to spend 9 days. It is very well situated right in the old town, only a few minutes walk to Place Massena, Cours Saleya and the beach. Each morning we would wake up, walk to the market for fresh fruit and baguettes and each evening was spent with a glass of kir listening to the hum of the nearby restaurants and occasionally an accordian player would stroll below in the streets playing "la vie en rose".. (surreal!!). Highly recommend this place for couples or small families. You will not be disappointed!

The apartment was a lovely place to stay in Nice - full of character, with everything you could need, and in an ideal location.

Place Rossetti at the bottom of the street was full of bars, restaurants and the best ice cream place ever, and the apartment was just a few minutes walk from Cours Saleya (liveliest place at night, with restaurants, cafes, night market etc), the beach, the bus station and Place Massena. This was exactly the kind of place we wanted - as we weren't hiring a car, and we loved being in the heart of all the action. It was great to hear the street musicians from our window and see the world passing by! We preferred the rustic charm of the apartment to a generic hotel room - we really felt like we were experiencing the real Nice!

I would recommend staying in Nice Old Town, and thought this apartment was great - lovely and cosy, and even has DVDs and player if you fancy a night in. It is worth mentioning that although you are right in the heart of the Old Town, the bedroom is double glazed so you can still get a peaceful night's sleep (if that's what you want).

I should also mention that the owner of the property was very nice to deal with when booking the property, and made the process easy and stress free.

We would definately stay in this apartment again.

Apartment was in the heart of the old town but within a short walk of the park and close to loads of great restaurants and bars.

Communications with owner and letting agent in Nice was very friendly and helpful.

Tastefully furnished and very cosy it was just perfect for our short break. Definitely recommend it!

We felt very lucky to have found this apartment- it was gorgeous, well equipped and we couldn't have wished for a better location- right in the heart of old town. Highly recommended and we hope to return very soon! It was perfect.

My family traveled to Nice the last week of May '09 and stayed at this lovely apartment. It was so charming it was the highlight of our entire trip to France. The location was amazing, just a couple of steps out the door to many cafes, restaurants, the beach, shopping, the bus station, everything. The apartment was well appointed. My family of 4 was very comfortable there. The owners have thought of everything, they have places to visit, bus schedules, everything! The bed was comfortable, we took hot showers, and the kitchen was well stocked. You can hang out the window and watch as people stroll through the old town. This apartment made our vacation a wonderful getaway for our family, I would recommend it to anyone.

Myself and my wife just returned from spending a week here for our honeymoon and we were so impressed with how lovely this apartment was... Totally spotless and elegantly decorated making it feel like a true romantic hideaway in the beautiful old heart of nice... We were quite gutted when it came to leaving as we instantly grew so attached and we are already thinking of returning!

We have just returned from a week in Nice and are already looking to return. This apartment is as faubulous as it looks in the photos with everything you could possibly need for your self-catering holiday, excellently maintained and very clean!

This was our first time in Nice and we found the onward journey from the airport (via bus) to the apartment very easy and straight forward with excellent instructions from the owners. Being met at the apartment with the keys was also very helpful.

The area in which the apartment is situated is the Old Town which can be quite lively and is full of side streets in which to wander and shop with lovely pavement cafes at which to stop and have cafe creme and crepes (which we did frequently). Just down from the apartment are restaurants, the famous 96 flavours of ice-cream shop(highly recommend the vanilla) and numerous bars. Directly across from the apartment is the Jazz bar Shapko where you are guaranteed a very warm welcome and I heartily recommend their Tequila Sunrises.

The apartment is about 5 minutes away from the bus station and tram stop. Catch the bus to Monaco for 1 Euro! The train station is about a 15 minute walk or you can catch the tram to it.

We walked along the Promade des Anglais, around the Port, up to the shops on Avenue Jean Medecin and I would highly recommend walking up to Colline du Chateau (steps at the top of rue Rossetti). From here there are views of Nice for miles around (if you have trouble walking there is a lift you can take up), really breathtaking.

This was our first time with a private rental and the owners could not have made the process any easier and were always contactable for any query we may have had. (I thank them very much for this).

I know you'll enjoy your stay at this apartment and hope you have a lovely time.
