We are a family of four with two children 10 & 12. The apartment was perfectly suited to us with plenty of room. There is a spacious bedroom (although low ceiling height) and a lounge room in addition to the room where the sofa bed was. Location is amazing right in old town with great access to promenade, tram, restaurants and shops. Only small downside is noise from restaurants outside. In our room (furthest away) it was fine but for the children it was noisy until about 1am. One night they just opened the window and watched people singing and dancing the Macarena!!

We were constantly amazed at the walking proximity..

We were constantly amazed at the walking proximity of this lovely, very clean apartment to all the wonderful things we wanted to do or stumbled across (the beach, market, shopping, cafes, gelato, chateau, pubs, jazz club 10 steps away, etc..). The lovely bottle of rose waiting for us was such a sweet gesture (thank you!). The owner was easy to correspond with and very welcoming; answered our questions in a timely manner. The sights, sounds, general ambience were magnificent. (Note: it does get a bit noisier at night as you move into the weekend, which is to be expected-we were all young once!- but earplugs are kindly provided if necessary--we opted instead to softly play music and that was fine by us). We had everything we needed, even a charger to charge our phones was provided, yet we appreciated the simple charm of the building and apartment. When we weren't sight seeing, we relaxed and soaked in the aura of just being there: hearing the church chimes, listening to the street jazz saxophonist that starts around noon, the music gently wafting through the town as it sinews through our window while we sipped fine French wine and enjoyed the simple but delectable lunch (baguette, cheeses, olives, meets, heirloom tomatoes, fresh apricots) we prepared from our visit to the market and wine store. Ahhhh! What more can I say? We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Had a wonderful four-night stay in this lovely apartment with my 2 young kids. The weather was beautiful and we even managed a few beach days! The apartment is right in the heart of the Old Town, so everything (bars, restaurants, beach, train station) is right on the doorstep. The place was well set up and gorgeously decorated- would recommend both for adults and for families with kids. We had everything we needed, with lots of lovely finishing touches- there was even a bottle of Rose waiting in the fridge when we arrived! It was impeccably clean and the agent was lovely and very helpful. Thank you for a lovely trip! We will be booking again next year!

This little apartment is absolutely perfect for the short getaway in the heart of Nice. We stayed for 6 nights. We were greeted by Anne Marie who was waiting for us even though we were very early. We don’t speak French and she does not speak English but we all muddled through! The location in Rue Rossetti is just right being in the middle of the Old Town surrounded by narrow streets, places to eat and drink and artisan shops. Only a short walk to the promenade and everywhere else you would want to get to. The apartment is perfect for two so long as you are not very tall. You start in the kitchen dining area and then move on through to a lounge and then a bedroom. The ceilings in the bedroom are very low but the room is beautiful and comfy with plenty of room for clothes. The bed is also very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need for a simple meal or something grander. The dining room is also just right for all meals. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

This was our second time staying at this apartment..

This was our second time staying at this apartment. As lovely as I remembered from our previous visit. It was clean, well maintained and had everything you would need for a really comfortable stay, even beach shoes ! The apartment is in an ideal location. The beach, bars and restaurants are all on your doorstep. There is lots of shopping to be done in both the old and new town. Our 2 grandchildren came with us this time. They loved the water park in Place Massena, had hours of fun for free. They also liked the ice - cream and pancake parlours that are outside the door ! I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a lovely relaxing apartment to stay in but has a vibrant town to explore. Angela the owner is lovely to deal with and extremely helpful. Will definitely return in the future.

I had to write this review to say what a wonderful..

I had to write this review to say what a wonderful stay my husband and I had for our 20th Wedding Anniversary in this beautiful little apartment tucked away in old Nice. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back! It was so kind of the owner, Angela to leave us a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge, very much appreciated. Madame Saci, who met us and showed us around the apartment was so helpful too, she even let us leave our luggage as we arrived too early to check in, so we could get out and start chilling by the seafront as soon as we arrived in Nice.

In fact from the moment of our first enquiry, Angela was so helpful with everything. I am so envious of her owning this great little gem of a place and she has decorated it so beautifully, I love the colours and the little details. If, like me you don't like all shiny, modern, square places, but prefer a bit of character and style then this is the place for you. The low ceilinged red bedroom with its wonderful beams and quirky little alcoves was far better than any posh hotel room.

It's right in the middle of the old town, near to great restaurants, bakeries for fresh pastries and coffee in the morning, bars and shops. The Cours Salaya flower market and the sea are so close and on the hill up the top of the little old street is a great park, where we sat and read in the sun, my 2 little boys will love it, there is even a playground on the hilltop.

There is some noise from the bars nearby, but we never go to bed early when we are on holidays so that was okay by us. If it had been a problem there are ear plugs kindly provided by the bed - in fact, everything you could need has been thought of, including DVDs and some cool French CDs to listen too!

Thank you Angela for sharing it!

We stayed in the lovely apartment for 7 nights at the end of August for our honeymoon and loved every minute. It is situated in the heard of the old town, near all the bars and resturants and a couple of minutes walk to the beach and flower market. The apartment is full of character and we enjoyed throwing open the shutters in the evening and soaking up the atmosphere with a glass of wine. Margit was there to greet us when we arrived and was so friendly and could not do enough for us- there was even a bottle of champers in the fridge to celebrate our honeymoon which was fab after our long journey from Paris. We loved every minute of our stay and would love to return one day.

My partner and I booked the apartment for a long weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is fantastic right in the heart of Old Town with everything on your doorstep but despite this you aren't kept awake at night by noise from the town. We have already booked to return in september and can't wait! The apartment has everything you could possibly need for a home from home and has plenty of Old Town charm. Honestly couldn't think of a better place to stay!

My friend and I just returned from a 10 day stay in the wonderfully equipped, charming apt. in the heart of Old Town Nice. I cannot say enough about the joys of staying in this place if you want to experience life in France.

Located close to the Cours Saleya Market you are perfectly situated to buy fresh fruits, vegetables and pasteries daily to make some meals at home.

If you want to swim daily the beautiful blue waters of the Mediterranean await. We made breakfast in each day and enjoyed eating in the lovely dining area while listening to the chimes of the church bells outside our window. The local Square is lively all the time so if you plan to sleep on the pull out couch in the dining room (extremely comfortable I might add) simply pop in some ear plugs and you'll sleep well. The bedroom and living room are comfortable, quiet and good for sleeping.

We were met by a lovely girl who provided us with keys and a wonderful bottle of wine to start off our holiday.

The apt. is very clean, beautifully appointed and altogether charming.

It is wonderfully located for wandering the streets of the old town or heading to the main street to catch the tram or buses that go up and down the coast to places such as St. Paul de Vence, Monaco and Eze.

It was difficult to leave for after 10 days it felt like home.

The owner provided us with quick responses to any questions and made payment easy. Would rent this again in a heart beat and have already recommended it to friends.

This is as lovely as it looks on the photos. Clean comfy apartment in the old town which is a great base to explore Nice and the surrounding area. Have trips out to Monaco, Monte Carlo, Cannes and Antibes. Mougins is lovely for lunch and exploring the museums. Dinner at Cagnes sur Mer in the old town and cocktails at the Negresco. You can see Chagall, Matisse and up and coming art (Villa Arson) and a must do is Villa Ephrussi. Go to the jazz club across from the apartment and o many bars, restaurants and local niche shops to explore - buy bread cakes cheese and pasta all in local shops nearby to have a gourmet dinner. The tram is five mins walk and the Asian art museum can be reached in a ten min tram ride.
