Le Moulin de Chazotte is a French watermill dating back to the 15th which has been lovingly restored to create four exclusive and high quality self catering holiday gites in a wonderful setting in the Charente department of France. Be sure to visit Cognac and the surroundings towns in the area, such as Angoulême and Saintes which are steeped in Roman and Medieval history with fascinating architecture and markets. Fantastic sea-food restaurants and sandy beaches can be found at Royan only an hour’s drive away. There are many activities to keep any holiday-maker occupied including on site including badminton, canoeing, cycling (some bikes available), swings, table-tennis, table-football, and boules. In addition there is a 7 acre play field which is ideal for football, kites, rounders and golf practice.
