Our large family rented Penny's two gites over Christmas and had a fantastic stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were super responsive and helpful. We are already looking forward to coming back in the summer. Thank you

What a wonderful gite. Spectacularly renovated.....all the modern functions in an authentic Vendee limestone barn. An absolute treasure!
Such a relaxing and comfortable holiday. St Valerien is a pretty village and Brunos, bar tabac is great! Wonderful bread and croissants.
We enjoyed the pool and gardens with our neighbours at Jasmine Cottage.
Thank you so much for our fabulous welcome meal, your creme brulee beats them all. We are so looking forward to all coming back, thank you

Thank you Penny & Tim for a lovely week in La Grange. What you have created here is nothing short of amazing, the comforts of home combined with the tranquility of a true French village (Saint Valerien) is so pretty and gosh that beautiful pool!! Our children have loved playing in the garden and meeting the cats whilst we truly relaxed. There is so much to see and do in the area it just means we will have to come back!

Enjoyed the week in this lovely home from home!
Everything we needed was here - lovely swimming pool and a nice and airy feel to La Grange. Fontenay le Comte has some beautiful buildings and great supermarkets and only a 10 minute drive away. Fabulous day out in La Rochelle which is about and hour away.

Thank you for being so hospitable during our stay at la Grange and Figtrees Farm. It has been a delight staying here for two weeks and we have throughly enjoyed every day we have spent here. Dinner on our first night was amazing. The house, gardens and pool are so well looked after we have all enjoyed our stay a great big thank you Rachel, Dean, Niamh, Scarlett and Olivia

Nearly 3 weeks here for the Bryans from Australia.
We ave loved every minute of it. Enjoyed exploring the area especially

- Biking
- The Grand Dephi

The house suited us perfectly, with plenty of space and everything you needed and the children loved the outdoor games. The area is picturesque and the gardens lovely and the children loved looking for the cats hidden in the garden.

We've had an amazing stay here in this lovely house. It's far away from the busy cities, so the perfect get away. Although it is still close enough to them to go for the day, trips to places such as O'Gliss Park, (highly recommended), La Rochelle (go to the Ernest Glacier) and the Green Venice. All round a lovely stay. Thanks so much to Tim and Penny for all their services. - The Irvines -

Another wonderful holiday at Fig Trees.
Bastille celebrations at the lake were the best yet, the fireworks were great and the dancing. Wonderful weather, very hot, so thank goodness for the pool.
Fabulous meal at the Auberge de Riviere at Velluire, highly recommended. As is the Cafe St George at Saint Juire Champgillion.
We will be back for our 8th visit to Figtrees.

We stayed in La Grange when we moved to France back in March. Penny and Tim have been great, they have helped in so much to settle and meet people, they both made a big difference in our moving to France. La Grange is beautiful and private, the beds are soooo comfortable, we would not hesitate to come back and recommend to friends and family. Many thanks Andrea and Steve xx
