This beautiful 4-bedroom property situated in the village of Montriond sleeps 8 and is ideal retreat for families or for groups of adults looking to get away from it all. 

When imagining the ideal stay in the Alps, it is fair to say that most of us would start with a spacious chalet, quality facilities and views of mountains and forests. Le Vionnet ticks all of those boxes and more, and when you add in our concierge service and flexible range of catering upgrades it is a real winner. From a pure self-catered stay to bakery deliveries, magic meals to your door or a chef at home service, we can make it happen... Your chalet, your way!

The cable car at Ardent is just up the valley and from here you will be able to explore the snow sure slopes of big-hitting Avoriaz and Chatel as well as venturing further to the sunny and often-deserted pistes of the Swiss sector.

The local area is beautiful with stunning walking routes flanked by carpets of wild flowers. Less than half an hour away the shores of Lac Leman also offer fabulous summer activities.

The area:

The chalet is set in a traditional and quiet area of the village of Montriond, 4km from the bright lights of Morzine and in its own spacious grounds. It is the perfect chalet for guests of all ages and the centre of Montriond boasts a couple of nice eateries, as well as a lively bar with regular live music. For people with their own transport the biggest supermarket in the area is just a couple of minutes drive down the valley. Access to the full Portes du Soleil ski circuit is easy via the cable car at Ardent (just a 10 minute drive away and with ample free parking) or via the new free ski bus (see below).

For the coming winter a new ski bus route has been introduced, with the nearest stop just a short 2 - 3 minute walk from the chalet and taking around 15 minutes to Ardent. From Ardent you can avoid the queues of Avoriaz and access its impressive high-altitude slopes via the back door, or bypass Avoriaz all together on your way to Chatel or the often deserted Swiss sector. The same bus route can be caught in the opposite direction towards Morzine and with a connection in Montriond you can access the Super Morzine gondola, the swimming pool or the town centre.

The self-catered holiday gives ultimate flexibility and privacy and our starter pack is included at no extra cost. Local restaurants are plentiful and we can suggest so many favourites!

Our catering upgrades offer total convenience whether you simply want fresh bread and pastries each morning, or our Magic Meals Flexi-Catering upgrade with breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner delivered to the door. Lastly, why not treat yourself to our Chef at Home service whereby an experienced and talented chef will prepare your breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal whilst you concentrate on enjoying the slopes.

Our friendly and knowledgeable team will be in contact right up until your holiday to help with anything you need, however big or small. No call centre operators, just real people who know the resort!

We will gladly guide you through the minefield of airport transfers, ski passes, equipment rental, ski lessons and so forth. Let us remove the stress - it is a holiday after all!

Special Rental Conditions

For short breaks, different changeover days or anything more specific it is still better to get in touch by email or phone so that we can tailor the ideal holiday for you. 4 night breaks available from £1200 in winter and from £1000 in summer.

When you are ready to book we will ask for a non-refundable deposit (or the full amount if less than 8 weeks from departure) and for the party leader to accept our conditions of booking on behalf of all travellers on their booking.

Online bookings will require real time payment and acceptance of our T&C's, and for email / phone bookings we will hold the accommodation whilst you complete a booking form and make payment (maximum 7 days).

Your holiday will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit payment (£150 pp for catered bookings or 25% of total for self-catered) and at this stage we will let you know the date on which the balance is payable. Until then, relax safe in the knowledge that your winter holiday is organised!

The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before departure, but we will send you an email invoice with payment details by way of a reminder. Most people opt to make an online card payment but we can also accept bank transfers.

We will also send you a username and password to the 'Manage My Booking' section of our website. With this you will be able to make changes to names, dietary needs, travel plans and ski pass requests right up until a week before your holiday. This ensures that our team has all the latest info required to ensure the smooth running of your holiday!
