Newly renovated stone barn, fully equipped and modernised two bedroom gite with flexible accommodation. Ideally suited for a couple with a spare room for older children or friends if required as both rooms can either be twins or doubles. Two extra Chambres d'hotes rooms on the premises if needed. Large heated swimming pool in private garden surrounded by nature and beautiful views.

The Area:
Just outside the town of Vernet-Les-Bains but within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beautiful views all around and situated in the foothills of Mount Canigou. The area is perfect for hiking, rambling, painting, bird watching, fishing, canoeing, trekking or simply re-charging your batteries. There is a thermal spa in the town offering many treatments and more natural springs in the mountains for a healthy and rejuvenating holiday. Famous wine areas are close by and accessible golf courses. There are many historical sites including famous Abbeys and caves. The beaches are an hour away, Spain and Andorra are also within a day trip by car. The public transport is also excellent and the nearest airport is Perpignan although there are many others in the vicinity to choose from. 

We feel that the swimming pool is not suitable for young children as there is no shallow end. Although it has an alarm according to French Law, it is 16m x 6m and 1.50m deep throughout. However it is a fantastic pool for swimming lengths by an accomplished swimmer.

Booking Conditions:
We offer all-inclusive art weeks with professional and structured teaching for five hours a day, groups or individuals. Please ask for details.
The whole villa is available for rent at certain times of the year which will include 6 double bedrooms minimum. Please inquire for details.

There is a £40 cleaning fee in peak season as our guests want to spend their last day here either by the pool or out and about as opposed to spending it with a mop, plenty of time for that at home!
