Discover "la douceur angevine" at la Boumelle, 4 beautifully renovated gîtes with a shared pool in the Loire Valley countryside. La Boumelle is situated on the edge of the "parc national" just 10 minutes from the riverside town of Saumur and an hour from Angers and Tours. The area benefits from a climate that is the hottest (but not too hot) in the northern half of France and perfect for cultivating vines.
The property was built around 1850 and served as accommodation, stables and a wash house. The gîtes have been recently renovated to a high standard, conserving the original rustic features of the wooden beams, local tuffeau stone walls and tiled floors.
