Beautifully restored 17th Century Barn set perfectly in an acre of peaceful private grounds in the sunny Gironde department, South-West France. Our charming home enjoys fantastic views from the breakfast terrace, across the
10 x 5m private swimming pool over the Duras vineyards and wonderful countryside beyond. Le Bonheur has been carefully and tastefully restored, yet still retains much of its charm and character features including, original oak beams and restored stone walls. The pool is surrounded by a large terrace with elaborate lighting and BBQ area. Le Bonheur can confortably accommodate 8-10 guests (plus cot) with its four double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Cot, highchair and linen are provided for your use.
The property comprises a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer and microwave. The lounge area boasts some fantastic features such as a 50-inch HDTV, HD FreeSat TV, BluRay/DVD, CD players, and Hi-Fi.
The local town of Taillecavat is just a short walk from the house. The pretty Bastide towns of Monségur, Duras & Eymet, with their vibrant weekly markets, are only a few minutes by car. There is much to explore in the local area from superb restaurants, vineyards, wine-tasting, shops, golf, tennis, riding, fishing and interesting local French markets.

Special Rental Conditions
Changeover day is on a Saturday. The house will be ready for you by about 4pm. Departure by 10am please to allow time for the house to be prepared for the next guests. This can sometimes be flexible if not at a busy time.
To secure your booking complete our booking form and send it along with your rental deposit of 25% of the total rental amount. The balance of the rental due is to be paid 8 weeks prior to travel, together with a damage deposit of £300, which is refundable.
There is a linen charge of £10 per person payable along with the final amount.
