We had a fantastic week away at Alan’s house. The house is quirky and fun, with ample room for the 9 of us (7 adults and 2 children). It was particularly lovely to all be able to sit around the big dining room table for our meals. The property is really well equipped and much bigger than it looks in the photographs. The outside area is gorgeous, with lots of different areas to either hide away and read or sit together around large patio tables. Although the weather was mixed, we were able to enjoy the heated pool on most days, and the kids loved it! Alan’s communication was excellent throughout and check in/out was simple. Very highly recommended.

This farmhouse is stunning and the owners communication throughout was first class. He was very quick to respond and answered all of our questions promptly from first booking to leaving at the end of our holiday. The farmhouse is set in a lovely area and it’s well maintained. The whole grounds are very safe and secluded for all ages with the pool gated off seperately. We travelled with 5 children ranging from 11 months to 6 years. We had an amazing time and the owner really has thought about all the finer details and made many provisions meaning we had everything (and more) we needed for our stay. Thank you for a very relaxing holiday, we look forward to returning!

Beautiful house and grounds and perfect for a family holiday. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with fabulous decor, and house is v well equipped - with everything we could wish for. Very safe for little ones - our two-year-old loved running around the house (stairgates provided) as well as the sizeable gardens. And the (gated) heated pool was amazing. There were numerous toys/games/DVDs which were a hit with both kids and adults. Alan, the owner, was very organised and quick to respond to any questions or queries. It’s in a great location - there is plenty in the area to see and do. A great place to stay - we hope to return!

We had a lovely stay at this very warm and welcoming home! It's an excellent place for setting off in the area La Rochelle-Rochefort-Cognac-Niort. In Mauzé-sur-le-Mignon you will find a supermarket and boulangerie.

The house is very suitable for 4 and more persons and the owners are dog friendly. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary things and the heated pool was great, especially in October.
