Total heaven
La Grange was amazing. Hand on heart - the best place we have ever rented. Stunning view from the house over a peaceful little valley, enormous pool, spacious house oozing with character and beautifully decorated. It was so well set up and stocked too - pots and pans , pool towels, candles, shower gel and badminton set....everything had been thought of and we wanted for nothing.

The local village was a short drive away and was full of charm, and there were lots of stunning places to visit within an hour of the house.

It really was heaven. We would love to return another year. Thank you so much.

A lovely place to stay
We have just returned from a lovely week staying at La Grange. From the initial enquiry to arriving could not have been easier. Communication with the owner is excellent and she answered any questions we had very quickly and helpfully. The house is very comfortable with lovely beds and linens upstairs and just as comfy downstairs and outside. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans etc and the bottle of wine on arrival was very welcome after our long drive! The pool is wonderful and very private and we enjoyed lazy days on the sun beds and beanbags. The views are lovely and the area very peaceful. The restaurant in the next door village was great and the local shopping village has everything you need. It was very easy to go out and explore the area which has lots to offer.

We really enjoyed our week and would recommend the house to anyone.....two families, a group of friends or like us just a family of four! It is in the countryside but we loved the peace of that. A car is a must. We loved all the fields of sunflowers around us and they helped hugely with an A level photography project!
